Ffs...

Alex opens, Kully 3bs, Alex 4b shoves for approx 1m. Kully calls after a short tank.

  for Alex vs   for Kully.

Jack in the door, and no miracle.

That's two EPT 11ths on my résumé now... Was fun anyway, thanks everyone who supported me. Now a long overdue night out in Dublin...🇮🇪🍻👍🏼

You need to work on your flipping.

Enjoy a little time off in Dublin.

11th again, same as Deauville.

All smiles though, it was great fun and I can have no regrets about how I played. I'll go that bit further one day I'm sure.

Thanks everyone.

Victoria is out here for the weekend now. She played a comp last night and came for dinner with us before and drinks after, was really fun. We'll be railing Rhys today from 1, got swap in with him after day 4 so that's worked out well lol, let's see just how well!

UKPC from Wednesday, should be a hoot as always.

Lovely stuff, & delighted to hear you will be gracing the UKPC with your presence.

You have always done well in these UKPC & SPT Events at DTD - won the 6 Max, 3rd in the 8 Max, 5th in the High Roller, & a brace of cashes in the Main. Here's hoping for more of the same, you'd be a good winner for us.

Ahh ffs. Unlucky mate. Live poker is so demanding and it can be quite demoralising when something like this happens. Two 11ths is pretty ridiculous and if you can see the light past this then I imagine nothing will stop you.

Interested in this Alex? It's a decent sweat normally, £500 prize at the moment. Once went to a rollover that produced a 1st prize of £3.1k.

Just had a pretty awesome weekend. Had a bit of everything.

Don't play many tournaments in the UK these days, but when I found out that GPS was on and Southend was only an hour away from me and that a few good lads were going I thought why not? Drove down on Thursday didn't pack a bag as thought I'd just drive home that evening.

Fast forward to Saturday and I'm still there wearing the same clothes.

Busted the comp twice on Thursday in pretty hasty fashion. Got a cash game set up, watching liverpool game and started drinking. A few hours later we decided to see what Southend nightlife had to offer and ended up in a pretty decent club ("Talk"?) and got the most ballin table right on the dancefloor. All we had to spend between 6 of us was £300! In Vegas that'd be like $10k Cheesy

Everything in Southend was pretty cheap actually, even a parking fine was only £25!

So ended up getting a hotel and doing it all again on Friday night. This time the cash game and the drinking got heavily merged with one another, and ended up playing a pretty huge game lol. At about 1am we noticed that the casino had its own D J and dance floor and it was actually buzzing there lol so we cash outed and danced the night away there.

Then someone made a big claim about his blackjack tekkers and next thing he's convinced us to do £200 a man syndicate! Which doubled to £400 a man before we'd even played the first hand!

It went pretty horrif and one of the boys was doing £1k red/black spins to try and get out of it. We ended up with it all in one hand, doubling, splitting, doubling, splitting etc, all riding on this. The dealer busts and we all go berserk! Breaking even on table games is a BIG win in my book!

Saturday morning came and I felt horrific, and I was still in the same clothes as thursday ffs. I thought I'd drive home, get cleaned up and sweat the football at mine then bring Victoria back with me for one final night in Southend lol.

We had an awesome meal together, played cash and drank some more, but never made it out - everyone was just too knackered by this point.

Sunday I went to White Hart Lane to see Spurs vs Bournemouth. I had Kane, Lloris and Rose in the Fantasy Draft with the boys but needed a big performance to stand a chance...

Kane scores in 44 seconds, then scores again, then sets up the 3rd! Lloris and Rose keep clean sheets and I scoop the draft for my 4th outright win in the last 8 gameweeks! Booooooom!

One of the best weekends in a while - bit of poker, bit of gambling, bit of partying, good food, great company and watching my draft players get me a win live in the flesh was the icing on the cake!

Great weekend, put my belief in UK poker away from DTD and I'm wanting another trip! The news of you winning the fantasy football draft kind of ruined the weekend for me because you run golden. Dragon

Nice to get one reply, and honoured that it is from the Dragon.

The dragon performed well and would be welcome on all future trips. Unlike Fishal "Theon Greyjoy" Maini who was an embarrassment all weekend.
