Not being able to sleep is so tilting. I haven't been able to sleep more than 5 hours all at once for almost 3 weeks now. Trying to get back into degen mode now, but as part of my new years resolutions. I want to go to bed earlier, and sleep less. I think 8hours per night is enough and I'm going to try and go to sleep at 6am, and be up by 2pm each day. That way there's a decent chunk of time before I head to DTD for me to do some reallife things. I want to play the piano more, and begin my career as a film music composer. Hans Zimmer film scores are just so sick (Mission Impossible, The Dark Knight, Inception etc) and I'd love to write music for films like that. Hannah bought me some really neat software for my birthday so I want to start make use of that. This is a very very long term plan, I could easily get nowhere in 10years, but someday I hope...

A slightly shorter term goal is to sort a decent place to live from June. I live in a pretty crummy student house with 3 student lads, and have paid for rent until June. After that I really want to live with poker people, JK and I hoping to find a place thats pretty cheap but not too bad. I hope he starts to run better so we can get that all locked up.

So, up by 2pm each day, pursue Music much more, and get place for next year sorted. They are my nonpoker resolutions.

I can really understand the good guy/prick side of you though. You have gone through quite a transformation since even as soon as that deepstack (and Chantelle has mentioned this to me too). Pretty proud of you in that aspect.

But yeah, looking forward to reading along to hear your thoughts on paper for what happens in the coming months.

Really good read Alex. Excellent way to vent the repressed thoughts of a posh boy stuck in a city where poker players rarely enunciate. Plus this totally means I can stop stealing your journal; something that has become increasingly tricky with all your trips to the Vic, and your ever-changing sleep roster.
