The 1/2 game was pretty poor last night, broke at 2.30 and I decided to continue my education in the mixed games, by wondering over to the 2/2 Dealers Choice table and sitting with £100. Was a good game, with Rob Yong, Linton, Bash and a bunch of other familiar faces. I played so bad it was unbelievable. Here are my biggest mistakes. I'm writing them down so I'll learn from them.
1) Made a horrible check on 6th street in Super Stud vs Bash, I had

down and

up, he had 528 or something faceing up. I thought the 8 had given him a lo but if he had A3 underneath his lo would be better than mine cos it had an ace in. FML. 7lo>>>>>>>>>>8lo jeez. And that's not even the worst one.
2) In 6card omaha, I limp 89TJQ2 cos it looked sexy and got to see a flop for £25 which wasn't bad. The flop was 875 rainbow, so I have the full wrap I believe with all the extensions. Rob cbet 75, I was played 180 total. I counted the cards on my fingers that I needed. 6, 9, T, J for the nuts. 13 outs to scoop I thought. Sounds good, let's go. Rob calls saying "I don't know how I can possibly lose this hand" (I smugly thought, I do mwahahahah). He flips A2 I'm like wtf ohh fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. It's friggin HiLo isn't it. FML again. He obv has the made straight already as well and I realise I'm drawing to win half the pot. Obv bricks. What a muppet.
Think they were the worst ones, ended up losing 3 £100 bullets which was a bit annoying, I wanna put some time into learning the games though, and when the 1/2 is so shit midweek and there's a fun 2/2 game on, it's a decent spot to learn. Neil was on my left kindly helping me out with some basic strategy. First important point is to look at the paddle to see what game it is apparently, bloody marvelous! I'm pretty sure they're super profitable games once you work out the basics, might read up a few articles on super stud, that seems to be the game everyone plays the most. I can get by at omaha and hilo. Sort of.
