Swinggggggs!
Not quite as exciting as LilDave's swings, but for me, I've been having far bigger swings than ever before and it's having a noticeable effect on my mood away from the table. It's been a while since I won/lost less than 4figures in a day and well, it's hard to come up with an unbiased adjective to describe how I'm finding it as this report comes after a 3 hour 2/5 session in which I won 3k. Today, we'll go for "exhilarating".
On Wednesday however, I'd knocked in 1k on the 1/2 table, losing a 1600 pot to Rob Yong with

vs his

on

flop. This was directly after a night where I'd lost 1.3k, losing 700 with AK vs AK allinpre. Yesterday I would've gone with "deflating". I played the best I've played in ages on Tuesday and got royally screwed. The next night I came back, wasn't in the best of moods and played pretty bad in a few hands, and perhaps deservedly bricked with the KJdd.
Last night, took the night off (well, majority of it

) and spent the evening with Hannah, had a thai takeaway, and went to the cinema to see Contagion - entertaining, interesting, won't remember it in a few weeks though. It was a lovely evening though, and when Hannah went to sleep, I sneaked away to DTD for a brief 3 hour spin.
Bought in for 700, spun it up to about 1.4k then Ajit came in pissed. Good news. He was responsible for giving me (yes, literally) my biggest ever pot.
On a £10 straddle, he makes it 20 from the cutoff. I iso him to £50 with

from the button. Mitch in the straddle makes it £150. Ajit snap cold calls (dw he's pissed, this could be 45hh). I call IP.

which makes me get a bit excited downstairs. Mitch tank checks, Ajit bets £210, I should probably flat here to prevent Mitch from folding AK or AA and to keep Ajit's bluffs in his range, but I decided just to get it in with Ajit, didn't really want Mitch to raise, Ajit to shove and then I'm in a 3way allin for a 4.5k pot with probably a fair amount of outs to dodge. Bit girly, but I was happy just raising small to induce Ajit to shove, as he'd probably get it in with KJ here. And he may bluff shove. No, really, he may, keep reading.
I make it £450, Mitch tanks for a long time and folds (sigh he's folded AK or AA, wpwp) then Ajit wastes no time, putting his chips in a box, wrapping them up, and pushing them over the line.

Again, what a life.
Won a bunch of other pots and cashed out a 3k profit - over the moon! So November has started off being 2k down after 2 days, now I'm 1k up. Poker's pretty fucking exciting at the moment! Deepstack time now, GL all blondes, especially #team_eureka!
