How much did you lose, if anything, by not being as deep as you would normally be when you had the KK v AK?
I get really tilted by hands like that if Im shorter than usual and havent reloaded or bought in shorter for whatever reason.

sick angle imo. one of my favourites is announcing "good luck" to a shortstack thinking about shoving into me.

Sigh, month was plodding along nicely, no big swings, winning little bits each day, now done off pretty much all my monthly profit in 2 nights, gg'd 1100 last night in the 2/5 game. Feel like I'm burning myself out trying to get this cash game bonus, and my win-rate or loss-rate more accurately is suffering. Not playing great and not running great either. Nevermind, everything outside of poker is going well.
Had a great date night with Hannah last night, went to see In Time starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried (eye candy for both of us). It was a pretty cool concept - nobody ages past 25, and the currency is time. You buy and sell goods and services by giving up or receiving minutes, hours even years of your life. The rich live forever and the poor die young. Justin is a poor lad from the ghetto, who meets Amanda, a princess in the tower type girl, who has centuries to live but hates her life. Together they try to restore the balance. Very enjoyable.
We ate at balla italia where I hardly ever go but was lovely and has the best menu out of all the Italian chains imo, even if it's not the best cooking.
On Monday, Ged who aside from playing poker, runs and organises random club nights for students. This one was in Birmingham and he'd filled this bar with a nice mix of 80/20 girl/boy ratio. Of course Mitch and I went along for some moral support and made good use of the free bar as well. Good night.
All booked and sorted for Prague, leaving on the 5th, gonna be fkn epic! Staying in a much nicer hotel this time, so excited!
Taking part in the Las Vegas Team challenge, part of team bedi with stato and claypole, high hopes! Would be so sick to bink a package cos I'm slightly worried about going to Vegas and doing my absolute nuts cos that's what everyone seems to do!

Also on the plus side, my dc career seems to be coming along nicely, the book redarmi gave me is really helpful and I used a few concepts I learnt from it last night to pull off possibly my first ever super stud bluff! I've always just nut pedalled in that, but I'm getting much better now. Enjoying the change of scenery and I'm certain that I'm more profitable in those games even with my limited knowledge than the 1/2 games that are just regs.
We combined the dc and Holdem game last sunday to play Round of each, worked really well, the dc guys in general are terrible at Holdem, and not great at Omaha so if we can regularly fuse the games to include them, and if I can improve my Omaha game, that may be the future for the midweek games.
Also, my horse Paul managed a 2nd in the 50frezeout last night for just under 700, congrats to him.

Nah i don't really see things like that. I'd be tilted if I was about to reload but some sort of cockup or mistake prevented me from doing so and I would've won a huge pot. But I'd decided not to so ce sera sera.
Plus the hands wouldntve played out the same, Terry doesn't usually get loads in pre with AK he was ip so would've probably seen a flop with me and either given up or bluffed me off it (board ran out horrible like 678TJ or something)

Is that a Freudian slip for the one most of us call "Bella Italia?"

losing 400 out of a 4k roll and 4k out of a 40k roll isnt the same thing imo
I cant find the quote from Keys but here is what he said
"being rolled for a game doesn't make you able to handle the swings"
But the only way to get used to it is to lose more than your comfortable with every so often, and DEAL with it, so it's kind of double edged advice
And Chin up Alllleeexxxxxxxxx, crush prague, I'll see you there most likely

Cat update - not had the vaccinations yet to be able to go outside. As a result she is stuck indoors and because we're out or asleep 20/24 hours of the day, she is probably very bored and lonely. She's full of energy and basically is a pain in the arse whenever she sees us.
Andy in particular is getting really pissed off with her. He was cooking a pizza and opened the oven to check on it and Holly ran towards it and stuck her nose inside curiously, before feeling the heat and shying away. I think Andy was half hoping she'd jump in and he'd shut the oven door and pretend it was an accident.
After the vet on Wednesday she'll be able to go outside and hopefully that'll result in her
getting run over
being less irritating and more pleasant to be around.

A few other things, had to deposit money on a sitethatshallnotbenamed for this Vegas team challenge, logged in, realised I had a few hundred bucks kicking about there, played some random guy heads up 1/2 called lolfatpeople. Felt he deserved to have his account cleaned out for having such a ridiculous name.
Also deposited on Bwin because they have released an iPad app so I can play real money cash poker on my iPad whilst grinding live. Niiiiice. Tried out the app on the play money section, it works alright and if my play money results are anything to go by (which they obv should be) I'll be a millionaire by the end of the month.
Potentially gonna play 36 hours this weekend whilst this blackbelt festival is on. At a table with Sam razaavi, Jamie Burland and Kevin Williams right now, pretty soft other than them. Could be a good weekend. Gogogo.

Interested in that app mate, any more info? Like number of table you can play and general playability etc.

If you don't want it why don't you just give it away to someone who does?
It'll be much easier while it's still a kitten.
