Just as a sweat what's the most you will pay then let us know how much you get it for or goes to someone else for.

By the way it's usually at an auction for a reason. Do you have an expert with you? Forgive my ignorance if Tom is a mechanic

Sigh, was in love with it but just before it went through they announced it had had major repair work done so Tom said it wasn't worth the risk cos you never know what's been done to it etc...

Wouldve payed up to 13, it went for 12.6 Sad

Alex

I don't like to be too critical, but if you are spending 12k on a car, don't buy it at an auction! Full on noob disaster waiting to happen without very good advice on the car you are buying.

You can get plenty of car for 12k.

If you are going to be a low mileage driver, why not buy a car with a few more miles on it and smooth out the difference in your few years of ownership?

Alex - do yourself a favour, have a word with Simon Trumper.

He's the bizz at trading (buying & selling) cars like that, he does it all the time, & makes a pretty fortune doing it. You could do far worse than take a look at his current motor, a beautiful AMG Merc Coupe. Before that, he had a stunner of a Lexus Coupe.

The man knows all there is to know about buying & selling decent motors, wrist watches too, as it happens.

He'll sort you a tidy motor if you bung him a little drink, you'll save yourself a fortune, & you won't buy a dud. He's a proper bankroll nit, remember.

Speak to him.

Pimped out golf buggy, running on electric will get you to DTD and back. Anywhere further afield get the train.

The one you saw was most probably an ex writeoff. Our old car was wrote off (mum drove it into a telegraph pole that found its way into the engine). We had a phone call 6 months later saying itd been sold in edinburgh.

Take your time mate. Dont get the first thing you look at!

Going to see a car in Manchester tomorrow that i think is perfect, might be able to drive it home...! Really excited. Tom's taking me and he's been a star in helping me out. I know it's gonna cost a lot to run and everything, but I don't care, I can afford it and it's what I really want.

Been doing well in the pokers recently, 1400 on last night and 600 tonight. Cliffs- was one river away from winning 3.5k on last night, lost AK to QQ aip for a 2100 pot, xxxKQ Sad Still won decent despite that, so I was happy. Tonight, won a big pot with 33 on A33xA vs Ax, fairly standard stuff Cheesy Made a big river fold with A4 on 44255 which I'm really pleased with. I'd checkraised to 215 and it was 340 more to call so could've easily flicked it in (I usually do) but managed to find the fold button - big improvement in my game there. One hand I'm still unsure about I'll post on pha tomorrow. Otherwise, very happy with how I'm playing atm. Winning really decent for the month, despite having only played 40 hours or something.

Not enjoying the online pokers AT ALL atm, and as a result - I'm just not playing! Got the live bug atm big time - big 2/5 tomorrow night, exciteaments.
