So we had a mare today. Really bad day.
The meeting went OK, not huge amounts of progress to be honest.
Then I went to the Vic to play cash to try and make some dough.
1) Get in £400 with

vs

on

, so he's just got 6 outs ftw, rivers it

2) We batter this guy up all session (just had it everytime to be honest lol but he kept folding and could tell he thought I was bluffing at least one of the times and was getting riled) then I opened

to £15, he 3b to £60 I called in position and he checked

and I bet £60, he almost instantly said allin for £500. Pretty sure this is AK 95% of the time, so I called fairly quickly and happy that I was vlikely to be a big favourite to win a ~£1200 pot and get me out of the hole and winning about £500. The turn was the

so I knew I was dead then. Sure enough he had AK and the river bricked

That was a nasty one.
So in a less than #lovingthegame mood, I decided to quit the game and just get the train home. Firstly left my bag in the vic, had to walk up 125 stairs from the tube platform and 10 minutes there and back to get it. Stopped off in a pastry shop to get something to cheer me up - left my iPad on the counter. MARV.
Realised just before getting on the tube, so it was back up the 125 stairs again, back to the shop - they hadn't seen it. 5 staff members all hadn't seen it. Brilliant. I conclude that someone mustve snatched it from under my arm whilst hustling for the tube or something. Nothing I can do, I just give up and go home. My phone's dead so there's no-one I can ring. Train service bricks at Grantham, get put on a bus (tilt) and once I'm finally home, I get an answerphone message from the pastry shop saying that's it's "turned up" and can I come and collect it. Phew. But not easy to just pop down and collect it, and ridiculously they won't give it to a friend or anything, it has to be me that collects it! I was going into London at the weekend for a concert anyway so I'll just get it then.
Thoroughly miserable day. Made much better by a lovely dinner and evening with Hannah

AND a fantastic business idea that me and Hannah had in a brainstorming session! #backhappy
