I still don't get why you done a ton to them .5/1 donks! The rapid speed with which he was calling absolutely any amount that you bet on flop or turn like he was slowplaying a monster... just not sure if it was worth it for the fake "I've got a straight" ... "oh... no I haven't".

You are the dealer? Calling the guys who pay your current wages donks isbt great IMO especially as they could easily read Alex's blog if im wrong then apologies.

I'm pretty sure Adam didn't mean any offense by the comment just got overly involved with backing someone who's blog he frequents/friend..

BTW, Alex's opponent had middle pair and an open ender on the flop and rivered a straight, the turn was a brick, don't think that was too donkish... He did however leave a few hands later and was replaced by someone who took 3 minutes to make any decision (seriously tilted my life) .. Had he not rivered the straight I'm sure he would have folded to an all in bet...

I don't mind people calling each other out on forums or in the flesh, but what I consider really bad etiquette is when regs root for one another and also high five each other on the table, not saying who I've seen do this, but I've experienced this at DTD myself (not you pleno, or Alex) to the point where I had to smile and leave.  People that know me personally know this is very difficult for me to do.  TBF I don't think the instigator had any situational awareness....

If Alex had J7s on KQT and the other guy had middle pair and an OE SD (i.e. JQ), surely they would have both rivered the same straight?

The guy had KJ on KQTxx and called me down, I knew he had a pair+draw was obv more likely to be a Q or T than a K cos a king had been at exposed pre and there's more combos anyway.

Assumed hed fold a Q or T but not a K. Was fine I think. Don't really ever barrel off in those games but thought that was a good spot. Nm, good for my image, especially if it gets reported on blonde!

The only time I've ever tilt-quit a live game is sharing a table with Doc Sands (David Sands) he is the most infuriating player to play with I have ever come across it makes my blood boil thinking about him at a poker table.

I didn't get to play on wednesday, I missed the last two games because of San Remo and something else so I've been quite rightly usurped by more committed and indeed more talented players.

I was first reserve so if someone drops out I'll be playing instead. Stato is away next week so Jakally is in goal instead.

It's 5 aside and we had 3 rolling subs that have to come on every 5 minutes.

Stato has done some player profiles somewhere for the powerleague webpage so maybe he'll dig them up for you.

Winning the league probably gets us promoted back into the league where we get battered every game, but I think you get a trophy as well which will be sick.

Everyone is ridic motivated and driven now to win the league, team morale is joke high and we're playing the best football of our LIVES!

This whole thing was a bit of a joke to start with but it's actually getting quite serious lol.
