Can't remember off the top of my head mate but a lot of guys at work have the same 'hardcore' waterproof to 10m, shockproof and dropproof cameras and I think they were 12mp and about £110 ..
They absolutely LOVE them and tue underwater pics are
epic
.
Agree 3x 4gb cards and I personally prefer the 'higher speed' 15mb/ sec transfer rate. Make sure you get a photo-stitch program so you can take sick panoramics and make sure you take them all portrait style and take an extra one or two (5+ photos) Makes them bigger and much much sexier imo.
Sorry for yet another thread hijack, but do you remember the make/model of the waterproof camera you're talking about?
Oh, and talking of panoramics, there are cameras these days where you just hold them up and sweep round slowly and it does the panorama for you. Very very cool.
I think this guy might be even posher than Alex:
[BBC] Other automatic sweep panorama manufacturers are available[/BBC]
Think it was the Olympus range...
uncertain which one tho... not sure it really matters.

Don't need to sleep on it. Awful idea. Stato put it best: "random dude in grand prix in "being a dickhead" shocker".
The comp was pretty unpleasant to play. My first table was reasonably friendly, but there was so many nasty people on the others, no etiquette, consideration, manners. Wouldn't play again.
I noticed this aswell, alot of angry people
Maybe they lost out in the Colombia auction bidding!!

I had an incident where I think I was the dick head but not really sure if I was right or not.
We had a really pleasant opening table which included Wadey.
I open utg to 600, the
calls after a little contemplation, then the button picks up a grey 100 chip and goes through all his chips looking for a 500 but does not have one so puts in a 1k chip with his 100. The dealer says " sorry mate I have to take that as a raise". The guy says I don't want to raise I just don't have a 500 chip but now you can give me one as change. The dealer does apologise but insists it a raise. Sb and bb then call the 1100 and i chuck another 500 in.
The
then makes it 5k to go which made my head explode in a friendly game. I had a go at the guy for angle shooting and did belittle him in front of everyone else. Obv we all folded and he claimed he had jacks and maybe he did or did not i still thought it was a tw@t of a thing to do.
Wadey said that I would have done the same thing in the
position but I am not sure I would have given the fact that we were playing the grand prix were most of the player don't have thatuch live experience. For a vast majority of the field £100 is the highest buy in they have played and honest mistakes are gonna be made.
The guy came to find me on the first break and we kissed and made up.

Going to see if i can buy one of the waterproof cameras today for my daughter as she has been lucky enough for a friends family to take her to Dubai for a week, thought it would be great for the waterparks etc.

Yeah i think you are out of line herbie, I'm sorry to say. I think there's a big difference between when a player tries to use the rules against the spirit of the game to gain an advantage for themselves, and when a situation arises, through no engineering of their own, where they have an advantage because of a ruling, they usually have a right to take it IMO. Especially in this situation, where being 'friendly' could easily go on to cost them most or all of their stack when they flop top set vs a straight for example.

Just when you think you might have seen it all, eh?
Sometimes you gotta just tap the table and say well played Jase. Especially in a friendly comp.

Meh. Sounds like the guy was angle shooting to me, you lot are way too trusting. He said he had jacks but did he show it? Much more likely he had dem aces.

Sorry herb but I agree, this is a perfect spot to abuse the rookies and take some easy chips.
Poker is not friendly, its war....
Just some people (and countries) give you a hug while they pull your pants down to get you ready...

You seem to like to belittle people quite regularly when you play live Herbie, not sure how that goes with your ethos of having a friendly game.

Yeah defo appears most people do think I was in the wrong and hate being a prick. Bloody hated laying down AK in that spot too.
I love bants at the table and did really enjoy it. Even took piss out of Wadey when he spat his dummy out. You are right Ray I probably push it too far sometimes but just having a bit of fun.
Pet hate at the moment is bowl players telling the rest of the table how good they are. Two coke heads on Wednesday were giving this old boy a bit of a hard time and I was pleased to see the old boy out lasted them. Unfortunately Barry Neville could not get passed the kid who was too pissd to stand up and stank of weed.

Just watched highlights from the opening ceremony. Mr Bean sketch was incred!
Think we've found a last minute solution to our house problems. Don't wanna bok it but at the moment, it looks like I won't be homeless on Wednesday whoop!
Gonna put in a big cash game grind tonight I think, then big sunday session as usual. Morale very swingy atm, could do with a good win. Games were incredible last night apparently, hopefully they will be tonight too.
