Yeh id love to go but its not an option at all this year. If I bink the deepstack in july I'll go ldo. Next year next year.

Cash at dtd will either be really good cos all the decent players are away or really shit because itll be dead. I'm hoping itll be a prosperous period.

Something I really have to improve at is not worrying about how much I win/lose each session and just take each hand as it comes because a session means nothing really, it's just when you chose to stop playing, cos you'll start again tomorrow so it doesn't really make a difference. But mentally, I'm always happy the next day when i've won 200 or whatever whereas losing 200 im a bit mehhhhhh.

1/2 buyin swings really shouldnt affect my emotions as much as it does atm, as in that game, it plays so big - winning/losing 300 is nothing. I'm still getting used to the bigger amounts and bigger swings so hopefully in time I won't get affected by those swings.

Channing said pretty much this in a blog about playing at the Vic.

He opposed 24 hour cash because he used to love the last hour of the game as people would be trying to get "unstuck" whereas for him he knew he'd be back the next night anyway so would play each hand on its merits

Much easier said then done though

Trying and new trick tonight - gonna stack in odd amounts so I don't know how much I'm winning/losing until the end. Doubled up early doors so I think its going well..

Going to Oxford tomorrow for a family thing and gotta be up early so did a short session tonight. Was good though - up 800, ran well hit lots of flops Smiley

Might stay at home until wednesday, chill with my family and have a break from poker. Seems like a good idea...
