Alex, one of the staking guidelines is

"- You may offer to stake players, or ask for staking, or apply for an offer of staking, but only if you have a minimum of 300 forum posts and have been a member of the forum for at least three months."

ie its there to protect both stakers and stakees....so for example someone choosing to use blonde for staking is also protected to an extent by not relying on staking from a newbie who might not cough up the cash

In this case, I know Ed, you know Ed etc..just making a general point

I know in practice there's not a lot that can be done about it, but just thought you should know that the guidelines "frown" upon accepting staking from those with less than 300 posts

ta

Yes I understand, I can see how it looks like I'm trying to sidestep that system, I'm sure you realise those were not my intentions.

Not saying that anyone's intentions are anything other than straightforward, just making a general point

Not much blonde can do, unless we were to strictly enforce it/put it in guidelines

but if people choose to use blonde to be staked, accessing the many people who use the site and will see the proposal (far more than would see it on their twitter/facebook etc), then preferably the staking requests wouldn't be full of "Auntie Sandra takes 10% via facebook"

Far too easy to concoct various "Auntie Sandra"'s and %'s gone by PM when really they haven't and you are therefore ramping the stake by suggesting supply is about to run out, or demand is high etc etc

lower the number of posts needed? Speaking for myself, im a pretty active buyer/seller and although I cant sell on blonde (yet) I still like to buy action. Not being able to just because I dont have enough posts even though im pretty sure people know im legit seems annoying.

The house fell through sigh. Countdown to homelessness: 5 days. Moving back to Cambridge from the 1st August Sad. Just gonna wait until I'm back from Colombia before sorting a place, or hopefully the boys can sort somewhere whilst I'm away, but don't have high hopes for that. Booked flights for Colombia now, it's just what I need right now, really looking forward to it. Going 22 days total, which isn't as long as I'd like but it'll still be amazing.

Currently in the living room having another session of "home game blackjack" where I did enough money in the first shoe to retire to the rail for the night. I just seem to run terrible whenever it's my turn to be the house. Stato and Mitch obv getting the lot, Giblin doing his nuts. Everyone's doing £50+ a box, except Thigh, who's still grinding £5. Currently £2700 on the table, 4handed lol. Degenerate times.

Sucks about the house buddy. Being homeless is more fun anyway imo!!! Any of the team going with you to Colombia?

Didn't even see that. Won't be happening again, then.

Apologies.
