This is the first time I’m posting so with the risk of being lynched I will post some of my observations.

I’m not a regular cash game player but I do play the tournaments regularly at dtd and have been for the last two years. There are a few reasons why I hardly ever play cash at dtd mostly to do with my bankroll and the time the games get going. But I witnessed something the other day at dtd that has made me never want to play cash poker there again. I’ll leave out names.

There was a PLO game going with a few regs and a few other recreational players Rob Yong was playing on the table too. Not sure what happened in the hand but two players were all in and around 2k in the middle and I was told that one of the players got extremely lucky, instead of the rest of the table staying quiet respecting the fact that someone just lost a lot of money another player who wasn’t in the hand gets up and celebrates. The player that won the pot then says “I enjoyed that it’s personal” a short exchange of words ensues I stand around because it looks like it’s getting heated and it’s not everyday you’ll see an ex boxer fight someone who looks like an ex con in a poker club. The players that celebrated were obviously friends and I have seen them regging the big games at dtd and the other player was obviously not friends with them got up and left. I’m not sure why this behavior was allowed and why none of the staff said anything at all, I was also surprised that Rob Yong didn’t even pipe in and tell the players to show some respect.

So all this stuff about the regs not being cliquey and showing respect to other players goes out of the window for me. Had this been the other way around and it was the recreational player that had won the pot and one of his friends got up and celebrated in that way the card room manager would have been called over. Now imagine that you were sitting on the Black Jack table and lost a couple of grand and the pit boss immediately celebrated, would you ever go back to that casino? Instead winning or losing at a casino the punter is always shown respect and in some cases gets free stuff just to keep them coming back.
I’m in the states so I will reply when I get a chance

I arrived just after this hand - can confirm it was a) out of line and b) not any of us lot - different "regs".

Was pretty shameful and embarrassing to be honest, apologies on their behalf. I think your mate had pissed them off throughout the night they said so that is why they didn't take it gracefully, no excuse obv, just giving an explanation.

eermm you talking about me here...?

Not sure who Bigdanre is, he's not a friend of mine? but hello
Why you're giving an explanation here? I actually wasn't ever going to say anything, but now you mention it I will defend my position

The only reason that I can see that "Your mates" were pissed was because I made some money on the table, the first being I called with the second nuts after your mate potted it on the river, his line on the hand was completely inconsistent being that it was PLO to which both the guys mentioned above said "That was a bad call" also I showed a bluff when in a hand with Tom nothing else I wasn't out of line with them although I could have been nor did I say anything to antagonize any one of them "Zerofive" was there so I'm sure he'll say something if I did.. I took losing as gracefully as I took winning..

Don't defend someones position when they are completely out of line by giving an explanation..

yeh...I'm not getting involved, as I said, that's just why they told me they celebrated.

Edited above... And appreciate the apology from yourself, but no need to defend or apologize other peoples mistakes...

I can confirm that the regs mentioned were not part of Team Eureka and each time I've played with any of Team Eureka they've been pretty cool, not cliquey or unwelcoming like some have said..
