Just got in from the night out. 530 local time, tbf I would've taken the over on nthat. No disappointments though, sick night, somengood stories, mitch had me laughing the most with his guess for a countryin Asia after I said south Korea and Tom said north Korea

#normalkorea

Looks like you owe me a drink mate.

Ah sigh! Could've sworn it wasn't a country. Ok put it on the tab.

Back from Latvia! Sick trip - nice to get out of it at the end and book my 2nd ever biggest winning day (first time not staked for a 5 figure score). Really happy Smiley Photos from the trip to come. First here's a boring TR for you.

Side event TR

First key pot to get us out the starting blocks is a lovely AA vs JJ on AJ668. Not much to be said there, business as usual I suppose...

Seemed to run really card dead on a very aggresive table for the next few hours. Dwindled away, tried a couple of moves in good spots trying to use my tight image to take advantage of over-aggressive openers and 3betters. A cold 4bet with A4o was met with a 5bet and a 3bet with JTo ip was met with a 4bet. Folded both and was down to 20bbs. Folded some more then shoved something and was called by something else and I won (sorry that's all I can remember!)

26bbs, cutoff, KQo - open. Active bb 3bets. Folding seems really weak, don't like calling - I'd usually shove here vs this type of player - but my instict and gut at the time told me he was calling me this time so I folded. #lollivepro

Next key hand was 3betting A3s out of about 25bbs sb vs btn. I made it big because I thought the guy was kinda peely, but expected him to fold a lot too. He did peel and the flop came something like 974 check check. Turn 3 I check call, river a Q, I check he bets, it's half my stack to call and I have 8bbs if I'm wrong. He gave off strong bluffing tells when he bet and even though my hand is super weak I thought he had nothing at all so I went with my read and called and he had J5 which made me happy Smiley

Lost 99<TT for 12bbs to lose all that I'd gained in that hand and was grinding again.

We ran super good not to bubble! K6o>A5o bvb for 10bbs. Then we 3b jammed 18bbs with A9cc, bb finds AK, raiser folds 99 face up! We river a chop with AK, despite him turning the nfd making the 1 nine left in the deck dead too! #goulden.

We returned to day two probably 14/17 with 14 paid. Got lots of shoves through as everyone was pretty scared. The bubble burst in no time and then I went on a heater and entered the final 3/9 probably. Was oop with to the CL and we ended up being HU.

8 handed, found dem Aces after a shove and a call which is always nice. That got us 1/7 then I went on a rampage for the next hour, opening every pot and occassionally finding the odd hand to call shoves with when they'd had enough Cheesy

3handed I lost AJ<AK for 20bbs in what was obv a really cold spot, JQxxT, was kinda painful being one card away from HU with a huge CL, to instead being short 3 handed. I jammed 18bbs on the button with 33 and my nemesis dude called with AQ. By the river I needed to fade an A, K, Q, heart or board pair! I called in the offsuit 3 ball! three clubs whoop!

Did 2 pretty sick bluffs on the big stack on my left - did the Issac Haxton river checkraise with 3high which got through without a sweat and then bet/3b the flop with K6 on 855r, expected a fold straight away but he called but folded on a J turn - was just putting maximum pressure on him and I thought he was super weak at all points during the hand. Think he must've had a 5 or maybe a gutshot or A high. I showed him both bluffs to try and tilt him / get him to pay me off if I found a hand. And also it made him and the other guy pretty reluctant to play pots with me - I got soooo many walks afterwards!

Luckily I found a hand soon after to get paid off with. He goes nuts pre with 44 and gets in 45bbs effective vs my KK. We hold and now I have a lot again. Knock out the other guy finally, AK>77 and I'm HU 6:1 chip lead.

He starts joking around about chopping it and he's like (in standard eastern european accent) "OK, no deal, we play, I double up, double up, double up and then send you back to England!"

Was pretty comedy, and he did just that - won K9>QJ then A6 vs 22, giving me comedy rubs each time, was hilarious. Then he 3bet shoved over 40bbs with K8dd when I had TT and I held and that was that Smiley

Is it true that the last pic has been used to influence Robs decision on the next outfits for the valets?

Stato has had an exciting invitation. He's been invited to be in the 30th Anniversary COUNTDOWN CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS EVENT OIOI !!!!

He's been grinding the internet countdown (apterus) the last few days to get his tekkers up to scratch. Pretty hilarious rail, he's playing another past champ online atm called Tom Rowell, the guys getting pounded, stato's such a beast! #houseload

We're all going up for the recording next month, meet Rachel Riley etc, should be a hilarious day watching him in his element with all the other champs!

FWIW, I once played Stato online at countdown. I was using a cheat thing I found from the internet, but using it a bit cleverly so he wouldnt realise (ie, only using words I knew/should know).

[ ] sure won.

Would like to come to filming, be amazing to have a rowdy countdown rail!
