@stato1, is it all 'just' an exercise in learning the dictionary nowadays? Has the game been broadly solved?

Ed was serious mathmo geek in his teens.
He did French and Spanish at a decent University.
He scores zero on all recognised measures of common sense.

Anyone wanting to get involved needs this background information.
The handicap range will be crucial.Perhaps a blindfold for Stato.

Would it be possible to do some trial runs to determine handicap both get given the same information in controlled conditions and then the scores are paired up at the end!

I had a good friend at Uni who was a scary mathematician, spoke like a south laaaandan wide boy and couldn't do the Sun coffee time crossword.

Used to crack me up.

Obviously I'm perfect in every way.

Ill give Ed 20 start with a blindfold if someone reads the letters/numbers out to me...

Or we could just do something that requires common sense off scratch?! Build an Ikea wardrobe or something?

I'll take you on at assembling an IKEA wardrobe. My prospects are better at that than Countdown if my first looks at Apterous are anything to go by!
