I thought the idea was to make it your scene?

Make these songs more accessible to the more esteemed echelons of society you frequent?

Love piano versions of other songs although I'm more with Tal and would prefer metal.m there's a guy on YouTube that did some linkin park songs on the piano, they were pretty good.

Would love to learn to play, perhaps it should be a 2013 resolution

The song I was going to cover was Gold Dust by D J Fresh, but since that might take a while to perfect I thought I'd start out with something simple so did this this afternoon. It's a really simple song - Angels by the xx, but I've schmoozed it up a bit and added a quirky ending which I think is really cool. It's not great, but it's an OK start. Any comments welcome. Think I should choose a better camera angle next time lol but it was the only one possible without setting up a stand of sorts!

That's excellent Alex. More please.

If you can find the time, please play a couple of your favourite pieces. You know, the things you really enjoy playing.

Congrats on another great year!

+1 on more piano videos!

I think you should make a proper stand setup to film concert style Smiley

Some Metallica would be cool too if you do move into that genre.

Gratz on the years results Cambo'.

That songs a bit boring, would be better with a fine vocalist such as myself or stato getting involved.

More up-beat stuff ftw.

Can you do some piano stuff Winifred Atwell style? Oh, and a bit of Victor Borge, too.

Congrats on those annual numbers, incredible. Proper pro, in every sense.

Li'lDave might have a chance of doing Russ Conway.

How about a little Liberace, that might help you in your threesome endeavour Wink

This was once on Room 101:

Russ Conway clips were a regular feature on Mark and Lard's Radio 1 show:

So Tal, looking at that video, what we are saying is that if Alex works more with his Pianst skills, a 3sum will follow no problem at all?

Yes, you can even phrase it in a way such as you have, so as to make pianist sound a bit like penis.

That Bobby Crush record is actually called Tinkling the Ivories Whilst Nailing dem Beeeatches (Even the fat one)
