Spent my birthday playing poker, which I'm proud to say is probably the first year I've actually done this. But it had to be done this year, with the awesome £300 deepstack on, plus cash action is thriving at the moment (thank god). I could have ran worse in the deepstack, but it would have been hard. Even lost a huge pot with

I confess that I did throw my last chips in in a bad spot, where it was an easy fold, but I had 8 outs so decided to punt and if not go home for a nap then come back later for cash.
Cash was good though, whacked Mitch for a nice 1.5k pot, 3bet squeezing T9o, he peels QJhh i cbet T83hh he peels, and I bet 160 and call off 350 more when he jams on a brick turn and the river bricks. It was my desire to get a present from Mitch on my birthday, and I think £700 with Q high qualifies as a nice present
His birthday is in 6 days time I think...
