have you seen les mis the film?

saw it yesterday, thought they did it really well tbf. Was expecting to be disappointed, but really enjoyed it. Russell Crowe was pretty tez as Javert unfortunautely, but Hugh Jackman absolutely bossed it as did the sick cast of Hathaway, Seyfried, Bonham Carter even Sacha Baron Cohan had a sick role as the innkeeper in which he was hilarious.

Saw Les Mis the Movie on Saturday and agree was far better than expected.
Thought Russell Crowe acted his way into the part and his final scenes were more moving than the equivalent moments in the stage show.
Helena Bonham Carter nailed her part as did Sacha Baron Cohen.
Obviously Hugh Jackman was outstanding, but wife and I disagreed on Ann Hathaway. I felt she absolutely nailed I Dreamed a Dream, wife less so.

My only criticism was that the orchestral stuff was a bit understated and that the volume in the cinema we were in could have been higher. Wife will probably see it three or four times over the next few weeks, I'll probably watch it once more on DVD when it comes out.

Who did you go with? It doesn't seem like Mitch's scene?

Yeh I had on , so I have about 36% equity i think against his overpair, there was 170 in pre, he bet 100ish and he had about 300 so I just set him in, was pretty standard. Ul of course, but not something to give up the game over...Sad

@david went to see it was thigh, nobody else really interested. Agree with your analysis 100%, didn't think about the orchestra at the time though now you mention it I agree. I just thought I was bound to prefer the version I know (cd in my car on everyday lol) so cut it some slack but yeh it was understated.

What makes you think I sing along? Who told you that? I don't sing along. I don't.

i get all his bad beat stories and todays was as soon as i put my foot thro the door!! also didn't help when i told him his pre flop raise should have been bigger, lol.
it will be music to your ears tho that when discussing the state of the cash games at DTD, i said that its too tough for me so going to Gala/Genting/G. He disagreed and wasn't bothered about playing against you/mitch and all cos you pay off his good hands. In the interests of staying in employment i didn't mention this previous conversation!

Previously, I would have sided with you re: singing along; however, after hanging out on New Year's Eve, I'm gonna have to shove.

I feel for Martin man, this is bullshit, it's too high level and what's her name is way too covered up.
