My first session at the gym in 4 years has left me a broken man, woken up with aches all over and arms that just CAN'T EXTEND! They are stuck at right angles lol. Soooo painful.

Hopefully this will prevent you from passing your cards in such a ridiculously flamboyant and ineffective manner.

I'll pay £1 per card revealed in our next session together. The proceeds go towards a dinner that I have to cook for you. The more cards I expose, the better the meal you get. If you're wrong and my tekkers are as good as I say they are, you'll be eating your words...and a very cheap meal Cheesy

Done! Although it's probably a lose lose situation for me.

Come to think of it, £1 per card doesn't sound much for such a heinous crime as a professional player exposing his cards.

You should be totally confident that you wont expose any cards. I think your offer of £1 per card proves my point.

£1/card would significantly hinder my hourly! A lot of it has to do with my sticky octopus fingers though, so if you like seafood, dinner probably works out about the same...

It's true. He lets go of the cards, but they don't let go of him.

it's very easy to join a gym, it's very hard to actually go to the gym.

Next up - Mitch. He's off to Dublin with Stato tomorrow and as a result of something that happened in the football after PJ's injury - can't walk apparently and Stato is going to have to push him around in a wheelchair

Alex, the 1/1 table I'm on is incredible. It's like it's 2006.

Once you get past the initial incapacitation, going to the gym is pretty fun. Even if you just do an hour of cardio, you feel really energized for the rest of the day. Just don't push yourself too hard on the weights in the first few days; or, you'll start associating going to the gym with pain and immobility.

Ran very well tonight in the 1/2 game which was 4-6handed all night, but killed it, biggest pot was a weird one. Stu B has been straddling every orbit, he forgets this time, I almost remind him but I've already been dealt my cards so can't really. He opens 5x utg instead and I see two red aces. Pros and cons to flatting/3betting but I decided to flat on balance this time. The main con being that it's likely to go very multiway and I'm oop to most...

We see a flop 6 ways of and Stu checks. I bet £30, short stack shoves £90, guy playing £400 calls. folds round. I shove £400 and he tank calls.

I'm vs QJo and so have to fade 15 cards twice, which of course I manage to do.

One of those hidden luck situations, if Stu straddles the pot might play out totally differently.

Anyway, the game died and I joined a 2/2 DC game for a bit but didn't stay long. Very tired and fragile today after last night...really wasn't feeling great about playing tonight, but played well enough and ran better so don't mind having an early one. Am close to this being my 2nd best ever month, so hope to book a couple of good wins over the weekend to finish it off.

Just to give you a target in the cooking stakes Alex, whilst playing online tonight:

I'm cooking a roast chicken accompanied by roast potatoes, peas and gravy(from the chicken jus naturellement).

I am only two-tabling though errr make that one.
