Hi, sorry for the late reply.

I think it'd very unlikely be a monetary thing, much more likely an emotional thing. Eg. If X buyins is considered v serious/ most serious possible/likely downswing, it wouldn't be like "if I lose X+1 buyins I'll quit".

You can always make excuses and say "ah well I'll admit I was playing shit for a couple of weeks so I'll just stop doing that and the rest must be variance".

If I quit it'll much more likely be due to an emotional reason, hating the game for extended period for example (obviously gonna be linked closely to results), or a financial reason (ie busto lol).

OR - and what I hope to happen one day - I get given another option. A new career, a new challenge. In the poker industry or out, I have more than one passion I'd like to explore in the future.

The way I instinctively phrased that sentence "I get given another option" makes me think. I'm not gonna get given another option on a plate am I? Not likely anyway. Maybe in this industry I might but not elsewhere. Going to have to work for it if I really want it. Silver spoon syndrome there haha

I don't "really" want it right now. I still lovethegame etc and can take the bad days with the good. Feel there might become a point where either that changes, or I change and decide to go for something else.
