I know backing horses at odds on is a sure road to the poor house but Master Minded comfortably beat most of this lot at Cheltenham a month ago. Ascot is a better track for him as he prefers going right handed and the 2 horses who could give him a race
(Big Zeb, Woolcombe Folly) are not in this race. His jumping has improved, and the breathing op he had last year have made a big difference.

I managed to get on at 4/5 with Stan James this morning but still think this is a great bet at 3/4 (sporting bet) or 8/11 generally.

For me if he stays on his feet he wins.

Betting horses at odds on is not the way to poorhouse at all, assuming u get the best price then its the way to the bank. Taking sp about 20-1+rags is the way to the poorhouse given they are 4x the price on betfair sometimes.

Never be afraid betting odds on- and im with you today

Somersby each way at 8/1 is a tremendous bet imo.

80/1 the win and 11/2 in the place market tempted me in for an ew dabble on KK.

I'm not often critical of jockeys but any of the top 20 pilots would have won on Sommersby.

Frost seemed like he had accepted defeat two out and only realised MM was treading water too late.

Think McCoy should have kicked on from 2 out instead of sitting still when you got a proper stayer within 4 lengths

Laid it in running @ 1.2, not a happy bunny with Hadden Frost.

Big Zeb for the Champion Chase at this stage.
