Chatting to 2 guys this morning checking out from the hotel having flown in from Jersey yesterday saying they were catching the plane to Manchester for a poker tourney, asked if it was this one and of course it is.

So if you are able please pass on my good wishes to Gary Whipp and Alan Mason, appeared to be a couple of decent chaps in the short space of time we chatted.

Mixed. Some very good players indeed, of course. Some less so, probably especially the local satellite qualifiers

Yesterday the field was dominated by the long term live pros with a very small representation indeed from the sort of names that have been venturing onto the UK festival circuit in the last 18 months from the Online sphere
