Caroline Cove has agreed to update the DTD December Deepstack for blonde

This is funded by the generous donations for a number of blondes at the last Deepstack, thank you

I have taken the decision, given a limited pot of money, to do the Deepstack rather than the GUKPT Grand Final that is concurrent, as I feel it is the most cost effective use of the donations given the length of the GUKPT event and London expenses

After the Deepstack we have the DTD Monte Carlo over 4 days in mid december. blonde has live updated all four so far won by Wadey, Fraser, Julian/Sunny/Tom and Alex G and they have been amongst the most popular on the site. Unsurprisingly, they are great tournaments

Donations so far have raised about half the cost of this update, and around £250 is left if we are to do it, possibly a bit less if we knock a night off a hotel stay etc

Please let me know if you would like to contribute

Thanks George. Julian Thew donated £50 towards this as well at Blackpool, thanks Julian!

Looking forward to it, I really doing enjoy these updates and all of the Blondes I have met are top people, so hopefully will be able to continue doing them. (The updates, not the Blondes)

do you have any prefered place to stay or any special discounts. for Caroline i recommend the Village inn at chirwell. Free swimming pool, beauty  suite (not hinting or anything), decent enough coffee shop,  food is not too bad and the bar serves peroni on draught and is always busy. Smiley

Caroline knows the amount we can pay her, the cheaper she arranges the accomodation for, the more she keeps after the expenses!

Do we know for sure that DTD will allow us to update?

Was there not a suggestion they would be doing it themself, in future, or did I read that hint wrongly?
