a lot of hands these kids are playing like the nuts these dave are actually terrible omaha hands. they are more like two ok ish texas hands . like 10 10 4 5 double suited. is this a new trendy thing or are they playing h/u.

Id never ever fold on the flop getting the price we are, we have the best high hand nearly always and therefore enough equity. High hands that have us beat we probably have a low draw against. The number of bbs is irrelevant.

This is also wrong, the hand plays v well hot and cold hu v 1 opponent and nowhere near as well multiway. And its hard to make a mistake with the PTSR once we have repotted. Although everyone on this forum seems to want to make a mistake

Obviously this is also wrong- people overvalue A2xx in all in pre scenarios at all stakes in PLO8 let alone in small stakes. Giving ourselves the opportunity to stack someone pre with A2xx KKxx is totally standard. And yes people do stack off KKxx in $200+ tournys, so i assume they do in smaller

are you on about me dubai. i am intrested in what dave has to say on the hand as he is now an omaha coach with the firm. i've only been playng omaha for 15 years and much prefer the game to texas but as i'm always learning try to understand my opponents thought process. and these days as i get older and older my opponents tend to be younger and younger. i've just come back from the western open in ireland where i mostly played omaha with the locals and nick slade for 3 days and the average pot was about 3rd prize in the main event. it was a £2/£5 with compulsary straddle of £10 and often £20/ £40 at times. god bless chinese jackie owner of the 4 aces casino.
