On a board of
I arrive to see Dean Morris in the small blind bet 6,500 into a similar sized pot.
Vicesh Mistry makes it 26,500 in late position
Dean thinks, looks a bit pained, but calls for about half his remaining stack with
, which is good

I asked him this, but he insisted he was never shoving
Having just got to 100,000 he immediately gave 40,000 back in two hands
In the first he led all three streets of Q-2-8-J-J with 8x and was called by 8x bigger kicker
He was then limp called pre and check called twice by 9x on a A-9-x-x board. Second pair led the river, and Dean had to fold
Perhaps Dean's image is not what it mightr be to make thin value bets/marginal bluffs?

Meanwhile we've broken to five tables and fatigue is pretty much the order of the day
Tim Blake has joined table celtic/Edna and came over to me and said
"Who is that pillock in seat three?"
it's unfair to set that as a quiz question to you, after all the number of candidates is high, but the correct answer was Victor Ilyukhin who seems accomplished at getting his opponent's backs up with slow actions and a hint of arrogance.

On table Cougar Bait Nathan Lee is eyeing Alex Martin with the mistrust of a wife who has found lipstick on her husband's collar.
Alex is really in the zone. In plenty of pots but a fearsomely tricky player to play, from experience, and a tremendous hand reader. He's getting the better of Lee, and everyone else on his table for that matter. Alex remains the chip leader

Caroline Cove has hit the Luton cash tables with a promise to me
"If you need me, call me"
Not a bad offer, as offers go
She has just wiped out two players at £1-2 for £850 as she raised utg with K-K, received two shoves behind and scooped.
As the board read 2-3-8-7-2 and she flipped her two pair she told the table
"I've got two pairs, if anyone wants to slow roll me go ahead but it will end in violence"
the two opponents meekly folded unshown
I might now call her back to do some updating just for the look on her face when I pull her away from the game
