Gary Cooper limps for 2,000 in mid position

Folded to Vinny Calenti in the bb who checks his option with  Two Diamonds

flop

Vinny check-raises all in for 45,000 or so

Cooper snaps him off/beats him into the pot with

Vinny misses his outs and is out 34th today.

Steve Kirk raises utg and both blinds Paul Rodger and Andy Lyew call 24,000 in the pot

flop

both blinds check call 20,000

84,000 in the pot

turn

both blinds check and Kirk shoves 171,500, a bet of roughly twice the pot

This seems to cause paroxysms of uncertainty for Rodger who thinks for over 5 minutes, eventually tossing a coin as to whether to call for about 75% of his stack

He eventually folds

Lyew gives a bit of amateur dramatics but calls for his last 30,000 or so

Which he should have done immediately with     in the big blind

Kirk

Lyew goes to 150,000 and Kirk takes a side pot to maintain most of his stack

Meanwhile on table Alex, Mr Martin is applying relentless pressure. In most pots, leading at most, down the streets....on over 300,000

Last hand I saw he called a Mildon bet on the turn of a  board

Mildon quickly checks the  river, Martin fires 14,000 into an 18,000 pot and receives an exasperated fold from Mildon, who appears to be trying to convince himself very hard that Martin does not have a heart

Chris Cousins is out. Having lost with Kings against Aces to become a shortstack he shoves in with...Aces. Mark Hutchinson calls him with Sixes, and spikes a Six to win the pot

Pretty tez .... Calls a 3 bet pre with qj os then calls for his stack on an A K Q flop.... Then won't give up 3rdpair to a call then turn and river bets.... Good comp but no one will give up a hand

As we wind towards the close of play yet more drama around the vexed rule of a round penalty if you act out of turn, with shouting and accusations of players deliberately hiding cards to gain an advantage.

This ends up with Paul Romain (who has acted out of turn, and thinks the player has put his cards behind his chips and therefore he should not receive a penalty) getting a penalty and erupting like Vesuvius at the TD, other players and pacing the casino like a wounded Rhino with a Roulette fetish

He says to Dave Robinson, the other party "You are out of order" and I have deleted the expletives

Bed cannot come too soon for most of this field!

no matter how annoying it is, folding out of turn is not like betting out of turn

they have made a rod for their own back here

News reaches me that Graham Pound exited last hand of the night. Down to 100,000 or so, A4 v AJ of Gary Cooper on an Ace high board
