I was going well until I lost a 80k pot at the 300/600 level, teach me not to play rubbish hands like AA Sad

Massive respect for donating 10% obv bink the world!

Was good to meet ya yesterday Mr Eso, got to see RedDog's moustache in the flesh, even enjoyed being needled by George in the fiddy donk. Wanted to meet a few more people in the breaks and that, but was busy sorting my bank accounts out as someone had gotten a hold of my details and went on a spending spree. sigh.

Great charity, great day.

Great day yesterday and although circumstances conspired against Cheryl with regards to the dates it was still a fantastic effort by all. Cheryl said it was around £25k which is no mean feat and hopefully the next one will be even bigger. Was great to meet a couple new Blondes, as mentioned a shame not to get to meet more but that's an excuse for another trip sooner rather than later!!

I'm paying for it now after all the walking I did on Saturday getting up to Tim's but it was definitely worth it and I look forward to doing it again soon.

Was funny to see that Jason is a lot less controversial in real life too  Wink

Massive well done to everyone involved, sorry to George for the badbeat and for then spewing them off afterwards Cheesy

Just a quick breakdown of how much was raised for help for heroes

154 runners = £15,400

38 re buys = £3,800

John Terry signed shirt = £450 (many thanks Jim)

£110.41 from buckets

£1445 from the raffle

Total on the day = £21,205.41

+ £2140 from UKIPT event + £600 from Nick Wealthall from that event

Gives a total of £23,945.41

Many thanks to everyone who helped, supported and donated and Cheryl ( you are just a superstar)

In truth I was mortified by the attendance, and bitterly disappointed in myself to let it effect my mood, as I really wanted to enjoy the day and have a good craic. It still was an enjoyable day and a cracking competiton made better by the value lol. Met some great people and heard many inspiring stories ... It's not all about the pokerz!

Blimey, I sound miserable but the fact is H4H is £24k better off and that will make a significant impact for some of our injured heroes so again a great big thank you to everyone that attended!

Haha yeah I think yesterday was the nicest tournament I've ever played, don't think I saw a bad word said by anyone all day and quite rightly too.

That was a pretty sick hand and I was pretty happy to have so much equity when they came over Cheesy

Richard I really can't understand your disappointment one bit.

You've made a fantastic effort and with the help of others have put on a great event.

154 runners considering everything else that was on that day is amazing.

It's not easy to compete with loads of other poker comps of similar buy in + a huge music event taking over most of Nottingham city centre.

You should be incredibly proud of what you've done.
