after the last photo it was 5.5 miles to the finish point me and Kev were both in a lot of pain Kev's knees were hurting really badly and my hamstring and groin
the longest walk in the world...lol
we were both very determined and was never not going to finish.

total time 13.5 hours

i think it would of been quite achievable in 12 hours if it hadn't been for the accident and getting Shane down safely!

thanks for all the support and sponsorship i will sort out and post total raised in the next week or so.

i feel a great deal of personal pride and accomplishment in finishing this losing a total of 2 stone and 4lb in the process

Lee

Great achievement mate! Really glad you completed it. I was really annoyed the other day when someone said you were just "going for a walk" but didnt want to derail your thread nor efforts. Im sure you can assure him it didnt feel like an afternoon stroll!

It was a great trip report, your efforts are appreciated! Ill ship my sponsorship during the week.

I hope you found some time to enjoy it, especially at the peaks. Shame you had some drop outs, but I personally think that you will alwayts get that in a big group of inexperienced walkers.

WPWP - really glad for you.

Are you going to keep up the diet, maybe with a little more room for treats?

thanks for the help, advice and support you have given me its really appreciated it certainly was not an afternoon stroll !!

i am going to still get to 15 stone and not have too many treats too often as i would like to stay at this weight.

Well done Lee, we all did really well. In hindsight, with the fact that we did it all in one day, made it a tougher challenge than last year. I'm hurting more as well, that might be the extra year in age, but it doesn't matter.
That 5.5 mile home was disgusting. I'm sure that's what hasKilled my calf muscles!! lol
