Can one of you computer pros give me some advice on which of the following would suit me?

I own a Compaq Laptop and it is very good.

My advice would be to buy the Compaq out of the 3 you have listed.

I done the same thing, bought the fujitsu amilo pro (1st one on the list) dose the job perfectly and its good for pretty much everything sept games.

If you dont mind spending a little extra on the 3rd one, Id choose that one,  same power as the others but it gives you 20gb more for movies and music and stuff.

I just ordered one of these.

I like the laptops with Widescreen's.  If you multi-table online at all these are great for playing two tables side by side without any overlap.

if you are only going to use it for poker, then Id go with the Fujitsu.  If you want to do other stuff too then the Compaq is the way forward but its more powerful than you need for a few poker clients, you'd be wasting money imo

I like big and powerful..also agree re the wireless...it's fantastic!

Quite amazing the first time you take the lappy into the kitchen to make coffee, but it makes for very late nights so beware..I usually lug the lappyupstairsand surf before goingto bed .. better than reading a book.

You should buy a Dell with a WUXGA screen and with the natural resolution of 1600*1200

Dell should give me commission.

Anything in this range will support that resolution.

edit: infact it seems that you can have any model in that Dell Inspiron range and customise the order with a screen supporting that resolution.
