I was waiting for Lock and Michael to duke it out for the wheelchair on the island, Ecko to start selling Charlie smack or Batista to put a hit on La Guerta once she jogged him on in Dexter Cheesy

How is La Guerta not in Amatays fittest older women thread.......

i must be the only person in the world who didn't like deadwood. boring plots, couldn't give a shiz about the characters. prob too thick to understand it.

been reading the GOT books and they really are amazing. one thing that happens in book 3 left me with my jaw on my chest mumbling what, what, what, over and over. literally turned me into a jibbering wreck. I think I read that they're splitting book 3 into 2 seasons.

I wouldn't say you need to be intelligent to 'get it' (I did after all  Grin) say possibly overthinking it maybe as from a character point of view it's amazing and the way they all worked together created great television for me. The plots all were pretty standard and nothing way out there or grounbreaking in all honesty. The way they all worked together made for a great show and Ian McShane was absolutely incred Cheesy

I'm feeling quite happy that my flight is going to go rather rapidly this summer now with 2 seasons of this to watch...

After a night out instead of whacking on babestation I watch reruns of MvF. That show is pure sex.

Walking dead would also be added to my list of great series, also prison break season 1 was incred!

There are other good season 1's out there which didn't get better.

Heroes. Spartacus (although the prequel series was awesome series 2 was average).

I thought first 3 of heroes were pretty decent, 4 was shit. Sylar was an immense villain.

I think on the whole I'm a pretty good judge of good shows and I still love it and am glad it ran the way it did.

Prison Break season 1 is one of the best debut seasons of a show ever, season 2 was good and that should have been it.

1 - Apart from you like SOA which is utter wank.

2- 100% agree.

Me and the missus are starting on Eastbound n Down to get through the bank hols. Hope its decent.

again, and this cannot be emphasised enough, do not start on season 3. just pretend that they cancelled it after season 2 as that disappointment will be nothing compared to the disappointment of watching the cack that is season 3

for me just the time period it's based around, the lawlessness, the historical characters that crop up, THE MTHERFKINGPINKERTONS BITCHES

SOA is good, but not great.... You rate the Shield as the best show ever so there isn't much more to say Wink

I thought the first season of E&D was incred, 2nd good while the 3rd I watched just to see it out. I don't think it was quite as bad as gatso is protesting though and anything with Katy Mixon in is ok by me

Absolute curveball here but I've never seen a better first season of a show than this:

Just done first 5 eps of Eastbound. Wouldn't say I'm a huge fan tbh. It passes the time ok, but So much reminds me of Talladega nights and most jokes are quite predictable. Not lolled much whereas Something like always sunny has me non stop cracking up. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Fav line so far is when Jmmy finds out the girl is named after Rose from Titanic, then he asks is the fat kid called Shrek..

Think im gonna need a different series to get through bank hols.

Getting the thread back on track.

Tyrion is a worthy hero but I think some of Bronn's lines have been the funniest ever. The pair of em make the show for me.

Jakken Ha'gaar is becoming a very interesting character and I'm gasping for Arya to go to Bravos!
