Things are pretty steady here

the three shortstacks are Ben Jenkins, John Miller and Craig Burgess all with under 100,000

Still 20x bb stacks though so ideal 3 bet shoving territory and not likely to be called automatically by many of the others

Danny Toffel makes it 9,000 to play, Simon Deadman 3-bets from the button to 26,200, Danny calls...

The flop comes K-8-6

Danny checks to Simon who bets 32,400, Danny quickly calls....

The turn comes 10

Both players check.

The river is 6

Danny bets 35,000, which is enough to take the pot as Simon passes.

+1 to nick hicks being the nicest guy ever!

No justice unless he wins

I agree. He is a really nice guy. And a really good player too. He has been playing for a long time now and has been getting it quietly for many years as a consistent winning player in both cash games and tourneys. But he's never had that little bit of luck to bink something big that so many other players have had even though they have been playing a lot less time and are nowhere near as good at poker. I really hope he wins.

Danny Toffel makes a raise and is called by John Miller in the big blind.

The flop comes K--Q--6

Short stack John moves all in and Danny makes the call....

John.....K-J
Danny...Q-10

John is in good shape going to the turn which comes an Ace.

The river comes a QUEEN!!

Danny Toffel takes the pot with trips.

John Miller heads out in 16th place taking home £2,150.

Ryan Spittles opens to 10,500

Ben Jenkins 29,000 on the button

Spittles, with a sly smile straight at Jenkins, all in for 180,000

Jenkins looks for a read, but Spittles is doing his mute smurf impression with blue hoody up

Jenkins folds and Spittles moves to 210,000

Jenkins 130,000
