I just wanted to share this with all the blondes on here who are like my family and did not want to post it in the ukipt thread as it was more personnel and only want to share it with the regs who might Open up this thread.
Yesterday I was driving down for the 2nd day of the ukipt. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining and the stero was beating out tunes. All of a sudden I hear my mums voice in my head and I think she says " you are gonna win this". I obviously shout over the music that I know I am. Then she says "turn that bloody music down. You're not listening to me". So like the soppy old fool I am I turned the music down ( I never listened to my mum properly when she was here so I thought it was worth the effort). " I did not say you were gonna win this. I said it does not matter if you don't win this. I will always be proud of you".
Well as you can imagine that set the tears off and even 24 hours later I am still welling up thinking about it. Poker is a very cruel game and does not always reward the best players. I hope today I represent Blonde in a good way, win or lose i hope i make you as proud of me as my mum is. X
