thanks to Alex in the I.T. department for sorting this out as there have been some technical issues with this thread. i am not "Doing a Cos" honestly i'm not and have been meaning to post again even tho i still maintain THIS IS NOT MY DIARY.
As you can probably imagine i have had to seek legal advice recently over some of my more controversial posts. As i have now been given the go ahead from all third parties that i would not want to upset i have been given poetic license until said times that the aforementioned third parties remove my soap box.
first off Mr Bam please dont be offended by my posts. (This is what I hate about poker self obsessed morons, they tilt me more than 5% river chances hitting). dont let it get to you as a lot of, if not most of my posts are tongue in cheek and i intended to provoke a reaction. but i do walk the walk as well as talk the talk.please come and say hello anytime i am in the same room as you or alternatively ask to join the queue to punch me but you may be a while waiting your turn. you could always not read the stuff but i know that curiosity will get the better of you and you will find yourself drAWN into my world. i have a good record of conquering hearts and minds.

the first statement is correct. i dont honestly want to see the gukpt fail and was a little bit of a backdown from me as more importantly i dont want a ban from G casinos. i realised i had an important thing to attend at the vic and do occasionally play some comps in sheffield / manchester etc. the failings of the GUKPT have been highlighted by more important people than me and still the mistakes keep cropping up. even Pokerstars make mistakes but tend to rectify them pretty quickly (galway last december springs to mind.
the second statement was one of my "tongue in cheek" moments and it was pointed out by Mr Rab that grosvenor did not object to the opening of dtd through the courts. however as there is no G in Nottingham their objection would have be laughable. what grosevenor actually did was provide their legal team and all its might to Gala & London Casinos to aid their cause. as we all know, thank god their efforts were thwarted by the considerably more experienced legal staff of a one MR Yong. My estimate of £1million being the cost to fight the opening of DTD for almost 2 years in the courts is based on hard evidence of which i unfortunatley am not at liberty to publish on this forum. you will have to just take my word for it on this i'm afraid.
it may turn out to be a prophetic statement as dtd seem to be taking on Grosvenors Goliath head on the monte carlo is becoming more regular and the results will be interesting to say the least. Goliath took on David once before and lost.
Infact why should i be that bothered about getting a life ban from Grosvenor, I'm probably bigger than the Rank organisation.

i did tell him to fuck off if he did not have anything constuctive to say (after him telling me the poker fairies must have nicked my chips) but never threatened violence or even found out his address in bolton. i always assumed he was just another loud mouthed geordie of which in my experience is about 25% of em.
On a personal note Jeff i dont want to fall out with you as a player. your record is amazing and it has to be said you are an icon of british poker but even you liked a good troll or to abuse players on ladbrokes back in the day. you used to make guys lives hell in the chat box and following round to continue the abuse. i wont embarrass anyone by naming names but one of the guys is a good friend of mine. also you may appreciate that i'm just the gun being used to fire the bullets provided by others so dont take it personal. When i asked one of the uk's current top players to join in he responded "lol not posting in that thread sorry, don't want to get on the wrong side of Jeff, he looks permanently on the verge of a suicidal killing spree, wouldn't want to get my name on the list". Just lighten up a bit and dont take life so serious.
