Never met herbie, but I like him although he is his own worst enemy, he doesn't even know what he is doing wrong despite people spending hours explaining to him.
But can his ban be overturned?

Do you know what the ban was for? Did he fist-pump when a frail old lady died and say he wished it had happened sooner?

I think it was for something a lot worse , he had the audacity to question someones mark-up on a staking thread.

He also mistakenly named someone for collusion which was withdrawn and apologies were made and accepted by the parties involved.

Anything possible in life ffs look at me
1) I got accepted into army
2) I passed out
3) I passed my driving test
4) they made me a mod on blonde
5) I goto supernova on stars
6) I won a supernova freeroll on stars for 5 figures
All long shots
As for herbie getting back, who knows what the future holds.

Thanks Iron.
I know Herbie may have upset some of the more sensitive on here on the odd occasion but he wears his heart on his sleeve and certainly does not act in any malicious way.
I'm sure the mods have discussed this but can we have a definitive yes or no to Herbies unbanning?
Blonde is certainly less without Herbie.

I have spoken to Jason, who every mod who knows him likes personally/face-to- face etc, as recently as yesterday
He was informed at the time of the latest, third, ban that it was permanent
Things can of course change, but there are no plans to change that at the moment
Bear in mind that people commenting in this thread and elsewhere are doing so without the basis of full information
I quote from the Guidelines which are available for everyone to see at
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=25383.0
"Ultimately, we make decisions which we believe are in the best interests of the forum and its members. The debates, although sometimes mildly amusing, tend not to be in possession of all the facts on which these decisions were based."
that's relevant here.

There are no definitive answer to question, herbie knows he has an indeterminate ban, just like in prison there is always the chance of parole, but in the current climate it won't be a short term release, herbie knows he needs to stop tagging the nods on Facebook and let it lie if he wants any chance of ever getting parole,
These are my personal views not the views of the team

Rich, members have requested specific information several times and no response has been forthcoming. Hence why people are commenting without the basis of full information. When a popular member just vanishes it's reasonable that people will ask questions and wonder where he is. They can only comment with the basis of full information if they have it.
I think Jason is the Luis Suarez of Blonde and the punishment is directed towards the person rather than the offence. I learnt this from kinboshi in the Liverpool thread. Kin has also made me acutely aware of the need to challenge consistency when assessing the integrity of a panel judgement. As I'm aware Blatch was never banned for extroting and defrauding various Blonde members. But Jason has a permanent ban so his offence must have been very serious and criminal? Kin has also taught me that panels passing judgement should be forthcoming with information so we all know the specifics of the decision making process and everything is open and transparent. Thanks kin.

The short answer to everyone is simply "he is too high maintenance".
We just don't have time to chase round all day clearing up after one Member.
The following is no exaggeration
150+ PM's, asking him privately & politely to calm down and change the trolling
67 (I have just counted them) deleted posts referring to the above
20 or so face to face conversations referring to the above, specifically talking about how to post, how not to post
many many facebook conversations over the course of, before and after all three bans
Yes he means well, yes he might be clueless as to what he is up to, but come on..we just don't have the time or inclination to carry on like that.
We are told (often, by Jason) that quite a few people would PM him asking them to post stuff for him that they knew was close to the bone. Not our fault that Jason was gullible enough to listen to those voices
It is a privilege to be a member of blonde, & it is free, but it comes at a small cost - don't rock the boat, conform to the guidelines such as they are.
