What's happening here?

Bas Mahmood has led on 8-4-6 and Ash Suhail has shoved, covering him

Ash then talks. A lot

Bas turns over an 8, looking for a read

Several minute spass, the floor is called, the clock is called, a penalty for revelaing his card is imminent, if he stays in the tournament

He eventually calls

and is winning against 9-7

He holds, doubles up, and gets a round's penalty. Fair swap I suppose

Tbf, the rule is applied consistently, my problem with it is the fact it is open to angle shooting

A round with some DTD fish.

22     1     Neil Giblin 27,000
22    2    Danny Ball 16,000
22    3    Matt Russell 14,000
22    5    James Moult 23,000
22    6    John Perrin 21,000
22    7    Regan Mcgowan 12,000
22    8    David Poole 14,000
22    9    Ben Vinson 12,000

Hand 1 button seat 6

blinds 100-200

Vinson to 525, McGowan in the small blind calls

McGowan check calls 750

McGowan leads for 1,250 called

 two hearts

McGowan 1,400, called

McGowan  wins the pot

Hand 2 button seat 7

blinds 150-300/25

Perrins 800, all pass

Hand 3 button seat 8

Perrins 800, all pass

Hand 4 button seat 9

Moult raises to 700

Ball in the big blind calls

they check down  Two Diamonds

Moult shows  and wins the pot

Hand 5 button seat 1

Vinson 700, all pass

Hand 6 button seat 2

Vinson 700, Moult in the big blind calls

Moult check calls 900

Moult check calls 1,850

Vinson all in 3,000. Moult dwell calls

Moult  three clubs beats Vinson

The table begins giving Moult stick, particularly for the flop call and the pre flop

I however think he played it brilliantly, a measure of the man's talent

Matt Russell "Well done Jamie you've just rescued the dullest Round with Tighty ever"

Moult "I think I've started playing like Barry Neville"

hand 7 button 3

Ash Suhail into seat 4

Russell to 850 on the button

Perrins in the big blind calls

Perrins check calls 1,100

check check

river  two hearts

Perrins 1,850.

Russell bumps it up to 4,100

Perrins calls and shows  defeating Russell's

Perrins "I thought you had me there Matt"

Perrins "but I couldn't pass"

Russell "yeah, I'd forgot that!"

hand 8 button seat 4

Russell to 650, all pass

Jamie offered me £20 to the update fund if I said how well he played that hand. It was insufficient, so I got him up to £40. Job done.

Just gone. Details below:

His hand was better than mine

Being outplayed is also a badbeat story, send your 50p to the usual place.

Ross Leatherman Kemp has trebled up to 45,000

UTG raises to 950

Leatherman flats UTG+1 with KK

UTG+2 shoves 14,000

Barry Neville shoves on the button 16,000

Original raiser passes, Leatherman calls all in

UTG+2 has 66

Neville has AK

6 on the flop

King on the river

Kings hold, Leatherman knocks both out, and is in clover.
