New nicest guy in poker Nick Hicks is out

He raised, Keir Radcliffe and Jason Herbert called

flop J-J-8

Radcliffe leads, Herbert folds (as you would if a renowned tournament expert, with everything except J-J in that spot), Hicks calls

Turn 5

Chips fly in

Radcliffe 8-8

Hicks 5-5

Meanwhile Herbie himself is doing ok, knocking out Faisal Mohammed when he had  on a    flop. Took great skill to win the pot, and Herbie did it to perfection.

Great start. 5 to the flop with my Utg +1 raise with AA, guy started spazzing out on a 864 flop, 2/3 on an 8 turn, then pretty much whacked the lot in on a king river. Sigh folded. Gen think he flopped the set. Hello 9k.. 5 limps on my Bb I make it 350 with AK same 5 call. C/f a 9q8 flop after a bet and 2 calls. Sitting comfy on 8k.. Suicide plz.

Much Lolz from my sofa! You were destined to be folding aces after all the max rubs you've been giving me!

Julian Thew bets 3,000 from the cut off on the turn of

  three diamonds

Maurice Nicholson bumps it up to 7,000 from the button

Thew 4 bets to 12,000 leaving only 3,000 behind

Not quite sure why Maurice 5 bet shoved with  , but he did

Julian calls with

Chip leader is the London Lawyer and Vic player Will Kassoof

90,000 at 75-150. Largest stack I have ever seen at this stage

Knocked out Jamie Dale, which I told you about then another two players

"How?" I enquire, simply

"Getting lucky" he replies, with a clarity not usually associated with the legal profession

Good news for the rest of the field though, they aren't eaxctly nailed to the felt from here
