I didn't think I'd see the day when I was backing Dirty Derry and Bellew on the same weekend.

We've an early Sky broadcast tonight http://www.matchroomboxing.com/fight-nights/bellew-v-flores/

Those tuning in at 6pm will have an opportunity to witness Mairis Briedis the Latvian Revenge. He's the cruiserweight who concurred Manuel Charr and is Bellew's number one challenger. Money has came in for his opponent Simon Vallily on account of him being a power puncher but Breidis looks very legit. unfortunately being reduced to an 8 rounder our betting opportunities are hampered. I'd suspect they were concerned about running times. Nobody will ham it up more than Tony Bellew and all the other home favourites have been in lengthier fights.

That Joe Walsh fight was good viewing.

Looked a bit like a nightclub brawl, but good to watch Cheesy

There has been a move for Burnett by KO but he looks pretty powderpuff to me. He probably doesn't lose a round but I can see Farrag hearing the bell. I've pressed on Dirty Derry.

Dodd fortunate to get that decision.

I've switched over to the Walsh fight now. Sounds like Murray was in a good one.

Nice performance from Burnett but lack of power is going to be an issue as he steps up.

Why do some boxers come out to such boring songs?

Deacon Blue? You're supposed to intimidate your opponent guys!

Have also backed Derry.

Was the punch before the 8 count low?

Nope, was good.

Better performance from Campbell and that should be it for Derry.

Good point about Z Cars, McGlashan. Has a boxer ever come out to the theme tune to Terry & June?

Come to think of it, there are a few fights where I can't help feel that might have fit nicely... Cheesy
