The Hearn’s are excelling themselves at the minute. Sending an offer to Wilder and suggesting that if he doesn’t agree to a meeting then he doesn’t want the fight. What possible value would there be for Wilder to agree to a deal now. If he beats Fury his stock will rise, if he loses the fight won’t happen so literally nothing for Wilder to gain by negotiating now.

Just announce AJ v Whyte II as we all know that’s what’s going to happen.

It's all just a bit boring now.

But then again, has Aj got 4? More fights booked in at Wembley? So surely they want the last one of those to be the big "super fight" for unification & hopefully wilder has held onto his belt for that long.

Or, the Hearn's eyeing up the unification bout to be in vegas & get massive $$$ that way?

Helluva PR team these folk have. Keep mention Wilder - it'll deflect from Barry's shambolic and revealing radio performance. We've already forgotten about all the final eliminator's Hearn's heavyweights have pulled out of.

Naoya Inoue is back around midday on Sunday. The WBSS should slap up a legal stream whilst they finalise a UK tv deal for the second season.

Plus it's a good stacked night of boxing. Beterbiev could be rusty yet again, or he could detonate a bomb at any time. Kingpin will stink the joint out versus DDD and Catteral has a chance to kick on against gangly O'Hara.

Callum really should have emptied the clip there when he had him down in the second. When in with a monster like that and you have him hurt you have to try and finish it as you aren’t going to get many chances.

He’s a bit special. Jamie Mac and Payano both been in with decent opposition, neither been stopped and he stops both of them within a combined three minutes.

Of the few youtube interviews I've bothered to watch recently the Johnson and Kalle ones were both insightful.

During Inoue's post McDonnell fight speech he announced he'd be in the WBSS. Kalle seemed pleasantly surprised as they'd barely began negotiations. One suspects Burnett, who is in the opposite side of the draw drove a harder bargain.

Johnson admitted he was a bit tense and that he froze up in the second. Naturally he wants another chance however a matchmaker may skip over his name next time a light heavy wants a voluntary.

BJS doesn’t get a licence to fight in Massachusetts due to the failed test. Fat Dan revelling in the news. Shame as it would have  been an interesting fight.
