I think he had the BN commentator on the payroll as well. The fight was closer than I thought it would have been but 116-112 Chudinov would have been much closer to the mark.

Personally fancy Quigg.
He has a good, solid defence, doesnt ship much damage and has an absolute bugger of a body shot on him.
11/8 seems a good price to me.

11/8 seems a good price to me.
Historically this was a very pro Frampton thread. I warmed to Quigg's chances a bit back when this fight was made but not enough to pull the trigger. And that was before he shortened in price. |

The oldest best I have in my book is Frampton at 8/15. I loved it at the time, less so now obviously. Quigg has answered some questions in recent time whereas Frampton's last performance raised some questions, particularly with regards to punch resistance. I still like Frampton to outbox Quigg and get a decision but Quigg's power is a worry. I haven't pressed yet but probably will if Frampton continues to drift.
If anyone likes Quigg then I'm fairly certain you will get a better price after the first round as Quigg almost always gives the first round away, something that hasn't really been picked up on.

As per TFT Bazza likes the McDonnell stoppage. His opponent does look like a no hoper but I never pulled the trigger when 2-1 was more widely available.
I'm still team Frampton. The flash knockdowns in his previous fight aren't too much of a concern, it can happen to the best of them, but Hearn and co have done a decent job of winding up the Frampton camp. Fight to go the distance at odds against may be the way to go.
The news of Marco Huck parting ways with yet another trainer was enough for me to take 2.9 on Ofolabi with Matchbook. I already had my doubts about the way he's being managed since parting ways with the Sauerlands.

I've also backed Lowe to beat McCullough and Shinkwin to beat Burton but the price has long gone on that one. Same story with Ceja. It's my biggest punting night in a long time and I'm not going to see any of the UK action live due to a wedding. |

I am on Quigg and Quigg by KO, this is mainly dependent on him being able to cut the ring off and get stuck in with those lethal body shots he has. Hoping his power and rock solid defence will be enough to wear Frampton down and stop him.
Also seeing Barry McGuigan's face if Frampton loses will be fantastic. Hate the way he has conducted himself.

I never researched McCulloch after not getting to view Lowe's last performance.
Shinkwin is handy from what I recall of him and his opening price looked big. God knows what Burton is all about. He's so far down on bills he doesn't make the TV cut. Even then sometimes life's too short, like when Charlie Edwards comes on. That huh huh with every punch grinds my gears.

I've backed Lowe at evens. McCullough can't fight on the back foot and has a suspect chin and a porous defence. |

Burnett by decision at 4-1 in his 10 rounder. He's smashed some mediocre Easter Europeans but never managed to get Jason Booth out of there over 12 rounds. Plus LSC rounds 7-12 at 15/8. |
