I’m on the Del Boy train tonight. You are always taking a bit of a chance with what sort of shape Del Boy is in both physically and mentally but he has the potential of a big pay day or two if he gets the W tonight. Kabayel is a pretty limited plodder and Del Boy a level or two above him.

There's no depth of talent at heavyweight. Tonight, Haymon is maneuvering Brezeale towards Wilder, and Del Boy will still be of use to Hearn. Next week Big Baby Jarrell Miller will be worth keeping an eye on.

Dylian fked any chance of getting wilder with that last weekend, didn't he?
Guess he'll be hoping Del wins tonight, so they can have another ruck on Josh's next card?

Why's world champ Jamie McDonnell on at 7? He's even on before Quigg whose own trainer is over NYC with GSP.

All those names are a brown envelope away from a title fight. Whyte got the win he's just ain't building any sort of fan base and I can see Eddie shipping him off to America again.

Whyte v Del Boy for the Euro strap on the next AJ undercard is almost a certainty if Del Boy wins it tonight.
McDonnell on well down the card is an odd one. I know he doesn’t have the highest profile but it’s a world title fight.

If ever a performance summed up a fighters career it was that one from Del Boy. The fight was a lot closer than Smith and Froch would have had us believe and a fit and in shape Chisora would have won that handily. His style relies on him being in shape and he so rarely is. He has got more out of the game than he has deserved for sure.

Lovely smug thumbnail. Hearn is running rings around the comical Deontay Wilder project.

Any thoughts on tonight's cards, folks? I'll be watching the BT one and recording the Cylone show, only switching over if Taylor-Vasquez is close.
When Liam Smith missed weight versus Williams the most likely explanation was he got fat and soft after the Canelo fight. Williams is holding it together well despite how much he got screwed over but I expect him to have a tougher fight this time round. Vasquez is a tricky, avoided customer. If Taylor wins via stoppage, even at odds on, I'll be turning full blown nut hugger on him.
Over in America, Jarrell Miller dropping 20lb and Wach carrying extra lubber put me off backing Miller points. Beterbiev has a tap in for a light heavyweight vacant title, unders looks good despite him carrying a little ring rust.
Lads/Coral have Smith 7-12 @4-1 for a classic Joe G cover up and come on late performance. Miller fits the Sam Eggington profile of grinding him down for a second half stoppage but not great as a shorty. Rounds 6-10 is 4-1, there could still be legs in points, just the NYC commission are more likely to do a British stoppage on iron chinned Wach.

Pretty much along the same lines as you. I’d like to see Williams win but think Beefy takes over down the stretch and wins. Wach looks in terrible nick but his chin is good and Big Baby not likely to set a ferocious pace, not much juice in it at the price though I was hoping for more of a move on the KO after the weigh in.
Taylor is obviously getting Vasquez at the right time but if he does a number on him then he will prove he is legit world class.

Very impressive in the end by Taylor. It took him a long time to figure Vasquez out but once he did he started to grind him down.

Smh the docs wave it off in the 9th but there was a change to 12 rounds so that bet is good whilst Beterbiev cruises over.
