I know. I could hardly believe it myself.

It is a shame there are so many awful players playing poker, spoils it for us good players.

Did you ever hear such a load of bollox, perpetuated by so many poker players?

He made a shocking call

What was he thinking?

Jeez, how many brain cells do these folks have?

The real problem with the guy on my table is that he berates other players so much that some of less experienced ones, or the ones who are just there for a little R&R, tighten up considerably in fear of another tongue lashing.

Some, perhaps just a few %, of those he comes into contact with, may well decide never to play again. That a lot of new blood lost over the years.

Actually Cos, I did.

When he went to the loo I followed him in and suggested that it might be beneficial for him to let the so called "Bad" players play badly if they want to.

He gave me a patient smile, similar to the one you would give to a misguided child and said:

"Oh I don't mind how anyone plays, it's their money, good luck to them" An then he left. I almost expected him to pat me on the head as he passed.

When I arrived back at the table he was already seated.

"Look at this idiot, he's just bet £30 into a £12 pot" He informed me, throwing his hands into the air and shaking his head....

I love that advert.

First time i saw it i was in bed at ~4am and had to wake the girlfriend up to make sure she could see it as well - convinced i was going mental.
