Cling film, you measure out a piece that should be perfectly sufficient to cover your pastry or fondant or whatever, you go to tear it using the sharp thing they put on the box (it must have a name but it escapes me at the moment) which is sharp enough to cut fingers at least once a month but struggle with a thin bit of plastic so the cling film drags across the cutty thing folding on one side and sticking to itself leaving you with either some cling film that is too small for the job in hand or you spend the next 2 minutes unsticking the damn stuff so it can be used. aaaaaargghh

Just as well. Cling-film is not suitable for wrapping anything greasy, such as a pastry, due to chemical release caused by the grease.

I often wrap my sandwiches in cling film and then rest on the settee until DTD opens.

Why do the people who pay your bills piss you off? I know what you mean, but when you have people sat either side of you at a tournament spouting the usual guff about 'action hands' and 'chipleader always wins all-ins' for the best part of twenty minutes...

That a good proportion of those people who think online poker is rigged are still better than I at online poker.
