Nottingham Kebabs in Radford. Of course it's dirty it sold kebabs for £1! And we only went there to buy a £1 kebab for the driver...

Why the fuck anyone would have a kebab and in Radford and not eat at Khyber pass is beyond me. Best Kebabs in Nottingham by some distance  Smiley

Sat Nav post code pls for when I'm next at DTD

Have the lamb seekh or chicken tikka kebabs. The doner tastes same as everywhere else. I normally have a mixed kebab on nan bread with a combo of the first 2 mentioned.

There was a kebab shop that sold them for £1 in Nottingham... £1.20 sounds a right rip off! Wink

One night we all wanted a kebab and the only driver offered to drive us if we bought him one, so we accepted his offer and went to our favourite kebab shop for ours and got him one of he £1 ones from next door. He wasn't happy but his was actually tasted nicer.

I'd have run u over if you did that to me.

hour later they came back with 4 kebabs saying they could get no pizza.

it was really nice after days and days of ration pack food this was awesome.

a few days later we saw the kids and asked them to go get us some more kebabs........they said sorry but they could get no more ? why ? cos they only had one  dog!!!

Haha yeah I remember seeing dogs being roasted on spits - especially on the road between Gornji Vakuf and Sarajevo for some reason!! They seemed to love it down that way (can't remember the town)

But you reminded me of the story (possibly urban myth) of the Platoon house that regularly ate from the same pizza shop. They all went down with Gonorreaha of the throat. Pizzas were tested and several different sperm samples were found on each...

Pizza shop just out of town was shut down for that.

This place??

If so its a little North of the place I was thinking about where they were into their dog eating - Travnik and Zenica.

Look at what the census said in 1991; chillingly how now census has been done since - and see the population change...

Mad looking at Google earth, brought back alot of memories and place names. Would love to go back and see how the place has changed - and eat dog!!! lol

I've heard that about many, many places but have yet to see any hard evidence of it.

Not entirley a myth, a disgruntled employee from McDonalds in Northfield, B'ham left a deposit in 1 one the drinks machines.

The employee was prosecuted and it definately made the press back in the 90's if I remember correctly.
Brings a new meaning to a Coke float.

I was going to add a link but that's one for Girgy.

No myth in this case, was reported in the local paper any way.
