I gather Mickey Wernick, the winner of the 2005 Willaim Hill Europen Rankings, has picked up a nice Sponsorship Deal with Blue Square for 2006. He gets to play, amongst others, in all the EPT's, & the WSOP Main Event. His first event is this week, in Paris, in the WoOrld Heads Up Circuit event.

Well deserved, in my oopinion.

Yes, we're delighted to have done a deal with Mickey.  Still yet to work out the full schedule of events he is going to play, but it will include some (if not all ) EPTs, WSOP and other major events. As Tikay says, his first engagement is the World Heads Up circuit event in Paris this week, so we can start cheering him on from today.

Very well deserved.

I don't play live all that often but I seem to have spent a disproportionate amount of that time sharing a table with Mickey.  Great player, top fella, nuff said!

Thoroughly deserved in my opinion. I've learnt a lot from sharing tables with Mickey at various tournaments last year. A good ambasssador for poker. Great choice by Blue Square.
