I'm not a great fan of playing competitive football so early in August. Glad to see today Steve McClaren agrees with me Smiley

Look on the bright side though - his accent was almost back to English on the radio afterwards!

Here we go again. My hammers have ko'd their season vs Cardiff. On paper the team/squad looks superb. Midfield is sick

We are gonna need a 20 goals a season man. Cole, piquinne, carew etc wont score 10 goals between em. We need a smaller more dynamic striker. Arrrgh that game has really fked me off. Plus i hate the fact im posting in this shitty thread. ;ogxifr lixkhtrjgilcu5t4jfmd

Will also be attending Brighton's demolishing of Donny

If you have changed from a palace fan to supporting that lot I would at least expect you to keep quiet about it!

I don't stand up when the "Stand up if you hate Palace" chants go but i'm afraid so

Obviously never a proper palace fan as you would never ever do that.
Bad enough those that swap Prem teams to support teams that win things, but to change to your bitter rivals that have never won anything or never will!!! Ultimate betrayal!

Very impressed with Southampton today.  They look well organised, fluid and have lots of attacking threat throughout the team.  Passed us off the park today.

I had them down as play-off contenders at the start of the season and, after seeing them, I definitely think they'll achieve that, at the very least.

As for us, we need to develop an attacking threat PDQ or we're going to prove the bookies right at last.  3 games, including one vs Morecambe, no goals and very few clear cut chances created across the 270 minutes.

The optimism of a week ago is evaporating quickly!
