well done to chiprich for his victory in the Quarters

i feared the worst when bobby1's defensegate stuck me at number 2 not number 1 against a high powered line up in the play offs, with antonio brown always likely to go off

my team did well all season but saved its worst week for week 13, injuries finally caught up (Bradshaw was a nasty one at a nasty time and i was playing game time decisions with julius thomas for three weeks which was 12 touchdowns out of the line up) and with Cleveland handing Andrew Luck a rare clunker (by his standards) i didn't have my standard redraw to the nuts to hand!

It's sick you would have won the league If I had called the toss up correctly but I think you would have been beaten by seed 8 this week anyway. imagine how I feel in knocking myself out and then sticking the 2nd highest score of the season up and imagine how shit I must be to have the top 3 scores of the season and not even make the play offs.

I feel like Ruxin in the Ghost monkey episode of The League!

As a player you can only control what you do. Bit galling to see some of the lack of effort some weeks relative to others by some players, but thats the way the cookie crumbles. Often you can find yourself ascribing motivations to other players which are incorrect, so you just have to get on with it

Seperate issue, I do think 16 players is too many, would prefer 10-12 players and that becomes a much more playable league in my opinion

16 players just gives a hugely random element to results, depending on incidence of major injuries. On a 10-12 player league you can overcome this via waiver wire

yes its no problem

i could feel a stinker coming on for weeks, i was so dependent at the end on Luck

I never want to read a Jlius Tomas injury report ever again. (he'll be back this week 1000% lol)

Tyty. Gg. Tough semi for me next week though, was hoping he lost, but Jordy got bidness done for him.

Well done to the play off game winners in the redraft league, I'm very very jealous now after putting up 149 the week after getting myself knocked out.

Will be interesting to see how the D league plays out now ChipRich. I did wonder if I should do a similar thing pre this weeks games or if Curtis would try to do the same as you going into tonight's game. Would have been funny to see you both playing for position. I just hope there is a Divisional prize neither of us knew about ;o)

Yeah, I thought it was the right thing to do in terms of chances in next round. (Will be punished no doubt now) Turns out, even had we played Cobb we still lose, so didn't actually matter.

Still, going to be tough Semi whoever you play at this stage really and players and teams can easily just not turn up. I had my second biggest league this week, Quarter final, my team managed to score 41 points total. Had the likes of Manning, dez, kelvin, josh Gordon, Ingram, denard. Just a woeful week for every single one, best player was my kicker with 10!

Hoping to make at least 1 final anyway!

Gl everyone in semi finals, always brutal to lose at this stage.

Sure and Im the best example of cocking it right up myself, in that spot you are the one that is also worse off but obv I was doing all I could to win. In the other week we we're let down by someone seemingly giving up on the week because of byes/injuries. In general tho bar bad internet at Wembley and genuine holiday/flight issues it played really well it's just a shame that one give up altered the entire post season.

Yes, in hindsight I should have done the same as I have ended up playing the machine that is Curtis. But I had the choice to do that and Curtis could also have played for position too by dropping Nelson (I'm assuming he decided he wanted to play me!!) so fair play to you for avoiding what looks like the toughest match up.Was a very strange situation wasn't it with the 4 play off places decided but playing against each other this week. In the end I just thought I can't chunk the game coz my ego wanted to win the Division :-).

we could split the league into 2 leagues of 10 if we dont get any more players to enter we can have some one in both leagues

2 leagues would make it much more intresting for everyone

or 2 leagues of 12 if enough people are intrested in running 2 teams

4 divs of 3 teams  play everyone in div 2x and everyone else 1 time makes 13 games in regular season

16 teams is a lot but if we want to stick to 16 teams then reducing the squads to 14 would at least free up 30 odd players and give it a little more playability.

Well done all.

Good Luck in the Semi's everyone.
Had Payton carry me for a few weeks but never ever expected to see a sub 5 score from him.
As ever my NFL knowledge has gotten a whole lot better and truth be known would rather watch NFL as Football now. Still haven't been down to London but is on the list of thing's to do.

I agree that we need to revamp the schedule and 2 leagues of 10 should suffice. If we don't get the no's for this I will be the first to say I will take 2 teams which might be a bit awkward if I have 2 teams qualify (Brag).
I will tell you what this League means to me. I woke up and 4:38am this morning and rushed down the stairs to see the scores. Was obv gutted but that's what its all about.

I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

With the amount of punting that goes on at Motherwell suppose it's not much different for you ;-)

Will look at options for the league formats in the post-season.  I quite like the 16 player league format, personally, but wonder whether it might play better as two leagues of 8, rather than 4 of 4.

I think my views are distorted to some extent from the norm by the fact that I play an ultra-deep league elsewhere, and it's always been the most competitive one year after year.

The aim until now has been to accommodate all those who wanted to play and it's served that purpose well to now, and we've managed to grow it to this size over that time.  However, I'm open to looking at alternatives once the dust settles on this season.

Please keep feeding the views and debate on this in the interim, while it's a hot topic and I'll loop back and re-read everything when we start to plan for Seasons 5 and 2!

Just need to try and win the D-League between now and then.  It'll help ease the pain of my Redraft season.
