what is our waiver system? Dont think ive had higher than the 11th waiver yet

after the initial week (random) if you don't use a waiver pick you climb up the list of priority, depending on how many of those above you have used their waiver position

there are two approaches

a) try not to use a waiver until you are 1,2,3 on priority and then use it wisely on a can't miss waiver prospect that breaks through

or

b) constantly try to churn the bottom of your roster, and stream positions like defense, on a weekly basis

my preference in this league is b). try to look a few weeks ahead, try to plan for what happens if one of your undroppables is injured and rotate a lot looking for diamonds in the rough

the option c) draft or acquire cheap and then try to trade on when they have performed (buy low, sell high) is not possible in this league because people are too savvy. Ironside apart.

As is trying to get underperforming players off managers ahead of a turn round

waiver wire is difficult in a 16 man league where for example, the "waiver wire gurus" would have you all over andre williams, branden oliver etc this week but they are already stashed on league rosters here

i only picked up oliver last week after reading a tip on him as a rookie to watch, couldnt believe i got him as my 2nd waiver of the week
cant believe i have missed his big point score week though i'll be lucky if he scores 30points now till the end of the league

picking up Oliver was brilliant. exactly option b) above..low risk waiver wire pick up ahead of him breaking through

if you can have 1 or 2 of those a season it makes a big difference

i wouldn't worry about missing the first week, that would have taken mystic meg foresight.

play him this week and ride his hot run

matthews isn't back for a few weeks, woodhead is on IR and Brown underwhelmed hence oliver got his chance so Oliver should get 15-20 touches on sunday and even better its against Oakland

Woahhhhh, any coaching about?!?

In all seriousness though, you look to have a decent team there Ironside. Not bad for your first time, team looks good this week vs me even without Brees and Charles! You have me slightly worried!

lol he was already in my team before the coach stepped in cause i need something special to be able to win this week

each week i read up the reviews who is likely to be playing and with the easier match ups ect

each week i have gotten it wrong but last weekend just was so spectacularly wrong but even with olvier in my line up

i would of lost lol ok if i had my best team out i had a chance

i am really into this cant wait for next season i so want to get involved with some smaller leagues so that there is more players available

I'd be looking from an hour before kick off, although you'll know which ones are in danger already.

As long as the Cowboys don't get any significant injuries, they are going to win it all.

Murray and the Offensive line are beyond awesome.

Loving my decision to stock up on their players!

Scrub that. With Jason Garrett as coach they will never win it all.

For not going for it on 4th down there he should be fired immediately..

If I was Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett would be getting a scary 90 second phone call after the game and then asking where his P45 is.

4th and 3 at SEA 40   (10:00) C.Jones punts 30 yards to SEA 10, Center-L.Ladouceur, fair catch by B.Walters.

Three choices.

1. Go for it- 75% the best choice
2. Try a 57 yard fg by the best kicker in NFL history - 25%
3. Punt - 0% only a complete fuckwit would choose this option. Good afternoon Mr Garrett.
