Great thanks chaps, will stick with Wilson.

FWIW, Taylor has two more points than Wilson, and he missed last week.

yes, neither are fantastic options. taylors points had watkins/harvin/karlos williams on the field for the most part. all absent this week

wilson did get jimmy graham going, finally, last weekend

Tyrod also missed practice today. i expect him to play but with wilson playing tonight if you don't pick him and taylor doesn't play you are scrabbling around for a late waiver wire

I keep forgetting you have to look at the rest of the team too, it's a lot more important than in our football.

I tend to look at matchups when you have a choice like that.

For example, I have taken the highly controversial step of playing Brian Hoyer in place of Matt Ryan this week in one of my leagues, as the Falcons play the stingy Titans who are good v the pass, whereas Hoyer has been smashing it up fantasy wise in the last 2 it 3 weeks and has the easier match-up.

My brother seems to think I have gone bonkers

Might be a bit beyond my knowledge of the game to do things like this at the moment but we'll see.

Texans are playing Miami. The new coaching set up seems to have reminded the defense they cost a fortune. Six sacks last week and two interceptions. You fancy the Houston O-Line to keep them at bay?

I think Miami's stats are misleading, as their defense was on a go-slow the last few weeks. Suh managed a couple of tackles in the fourth quarter at Wembley. Wouldn't have known he was playing otherwise.

Titans are allowing 184 passing yards per game, compared to 238 for the Dolphins. Texans are a pass heavy offence, granted they now have Foster back, but he is also heavily utilised in the passing game, and they also have the small matter of Deandre Hopkins.

The Titans allowe 129 yards per game rushing, and the Falcons have Freeman in the backfield who is absolutely on fire.

From a purely fantasy point of view, to me at least, it doesnt feel particularly close.

(Fully prepared for a 400yd, 4TD week from Ryan on my bench now!)

In fairness, if Hopkins can keep catching balls against his helmet (not bitter or 'owt...like it was the only leg of my acca that went down or anything...), Hoyer is going to keep getting 20 points a week.

hahahaha, mine went down on thursday last week thanks to the bloody falcons!!!

I got Hopkins in the same team as Hoyer now, doubling down on the Texans feels dirrrrty.

Miami score 41 first half points.

I have their starting TE and one of their WRs.

They score 0 points.

Made a terrible mistake leaving TY Hilton on the bench, he scored 27 points, 25 more than the WR I did put in.

Actually, Hoyer scored me 3 more points than Ryan did, confirmed genius!
