Dean has had a right result v me in the D league then this week. 9 of my 30 available players will be unavailable due to Covid if the Kansas game is off which seems very likely now given Tenn are still finding players/staff that tested ok yesterday as infected the day after.

I might have to use my one time run good and win with Nick Mullens, no real starting TE and no kicker at the mo. Tho tbh it was always possible it could happen and I’ve had plenty of time to get a 3rd QB just in case. So my fault really tho Tbh I’m amazed nobody else picked up the last starting FA QB :-). The weird thing is all 3 of my starting TE’s are in the top 10 TE’s and all will be unavailable as Fant played on Thursday night.

i think we are going to need a bigger IR list, its crazy playing sport in this current climate as much as i am enjoying it. And these people trying to get fans into games need to have heads examined luckily MOST sportsmen are young and fit but if one sportsman is seriously affected by Covid it will really put cat among the pigeons

The thing is Iron for all the stuff about how well the NFL is doing there have been some really bad decisions made by Individual players this week. For example Darren Waller hosted a charity event that a lot of his team mates attended on Monday where they were mixing and socialising with no masks on. They basically put their whole team in jeopardy by being 1 bad handshake or a cough away in a room full of people. Seems incredibly selfish.

No matter what the authorities do apart from locking all the players up together there will be rules breaks and people are going to get and pass this on.

It’s going to be different if nothing else bud. Have a good one.
Saints FB tested positive after the teams flight to Detroit. He must have tested negative in the morning to be allowed on the flight and then positive after they got there. Fingers crossed it’s a false positive But if it isn’t there must be some doubt about that game now too.

A number of leagues are introducing conditional line ups and waiver periods. I suppose it depends what the platform offers. I will chat to Tal

The Saints FB has passed further tests so looks like a false positive there.

I know this is a fluid situation so it might cool down again but another 2 Tenn personnel have tested positive today so that looks like it could be a multi week issue for them. I think that’s a new positive every day since they played last Sunday. In terms of the D league is there a way to allow players in games that are called off to be added to the IR spots if there is space? That would allow a bit of relief for someone in the spot I’m in this week without having to drop players to put out a full team. The guy I dropped to pick up a D has already been picked up by another team So I’ve lost one there. If the Kansas game is off and I can find a Better TE and a kicker to be as strong as I can this week I’m likely to have lost 3 players just to field the best team I can in a game I’m likely to lose anyway. So opening up IR for players in games called off would help keep squads together instead of having to drop players for 1 week replacements that we are probably going to be looking to drop again the week after but will be unlikely to get the players we dropped back again. Tx
