Shame that you can't make it, you were close to a free dinner if Push Me wasn't in that race Cheesy

Still I only lost £40 as I backed it EW on Laddies earlier before going back in for another 40 on B/F when it drifted before the off.

Hopefully I'll get up again at some point if I don't do my net in Killarney this weekend and meet Blonde's new legendary blogger
Gl this weekend then, Vinny said if your not playing poker at Luton on Thursday and are playing the magic wheel or a bit of cash you all may come to the Circus for a few beers so we may get to meet. If not I am sure we will in the future.

The tourney might be a no go anyway depending what time I get to Luton and dump my stuff at the hotel. Dinner then a trip over to the circus sounds more appealing anyway so will speak to Vinny and see if he fancies that. I'm sure he'll want to play seeing as he's on a hot streak though Cheesy

A DAY OFF!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, today is a day off from work so am spending it mostly doing life stuff before going to Luton tonight for their monthly £200 deepstack.
Already made breakfast for Petra, took the Bentley (the dog) and Maxwell for a walk along the seafront before Petra and Max went off to Rhythm Kids where they all sit singing nursery rhymes. Now we are off to town to have some lunch do a bit of shopping then its the short drive to Luton 25k starting stack and 40 min blinds going back for day2 on Sunday hopefully!!

It's the first time i have played this event and Vinny has already guided me on his "How to win at Luton Tournament Strategy"

CIRCUS LUTON DAY 1A REPORT!!

It's funny how you play some places and the standard seems to have stood still or even gone backwards, anyway the structure was really good 25k starting stack and a 40 minute clock only missing out 1 or 2 levels but it was a limp fest and there is no point iso raising ip as it will play something like this call 50 call 50 call 50 call 50 raise to 200  sb makes up bb calls  call call call  5 way to the flop with blah blah blah.

Anyway i kept out of it for the first few levels and at the first break had 24k and nothing to report, at the end of the second break with the blinds about to go 150/300   Celtic, Alex Mfkin Martin, and Marky147 all turned up from being out for a meal with Mark going to Killarney today for the main event (GLGLGLGL by the way) obv they only turned up to anti rail me and all stood behind me.

With the Antes kicked in it was time to start winning some pots and unfortunately an iso raise from 1 limper followed by a barreled flop and turn i missed my double gutter and had to fold to his all in donk otr.  Now i was short with 20 bigs and no spots came up as at 3/600/50 everyone wanted to raise to 2800 one person even made it 6400 pre from utg and all i can find is 9/2 8/3 etc  eventually i made a stand and it was comical to see my 3 all ins anti railed with everyone else looking at the three muskateers behind me calling for my villains cards in and people commenting "why do you want him to lose" to which they replied "so we can go home"  mbn to have friends!!!

My last 7k went it otb with 55 to be met by the obligatory call from the BB WIZARD and his A9 got there otf.  Sad

Marky147 is a really interesting guy and Alex is obv a degen legend it was also nice to see Celtic who assures me he will be starting a diary soon  Wink
I may play Day 1B Saturday but only if the horse below wins otherwise i will wait till DTD next week!!!

Horse Fancy Today!!

SIRIUS PROSPECT  5.15 Ascot

Im backing it each way, it won me a chunk last month so owes me nothing and i think it will go in again today as it has had a nice break which it didnt after it won at Windosr which was used as an excuse for a poor run.
I also spoke to the stable jockey who said they expected it to run well again today so each eay advised!!
Its 7/1 on Bf and 13/2 best price with the bookies...
