This is not meant as a dig at all, but do you bet for fun or to actually to try and make money?

I only ask because some of the prices you take are poor, the £40 double would have returned £125 in other places, I had Preston +2.5 @ 4/5 elsewhere.

I know sometimes you can only get to a Hills shop etc, have money in various accounts.

Ok the left hand bet is part of my challenge and the right hand bet is one that i place 2 bets per week of approx £30 per bet on over goals in certain matches and do between 5-8 just picking the games i think will have goals in.
Over the past 2 seasons not inc this one i would say i get the 5-8 team acca in approx 6 times per year with it paying minimum £400 and up to £2200 as per earlier itt therefore betting on over goals for me has been profitable.

I dont bet to make money in terms of needing it to be part of my income but it supplements other things in my life like holidays, taking shots in poker tourneys etc etc.
If you have not followed my diary from the start I dont bet day to day on horses or sport just if something takes my fancy or if i get texted something but i do read the Racing Post every day.

Was on the betfred midweek coupon, albeit you have to have a double, Swindon/Gills was 5/6 too, 8/11 in most places.  8/11 double on both Celtic/Man City games tonight there looks value too, 8/13 13/20 both in most places.

Celtic are in the worst form in years mate- not saying they wont win but I'm sure there will be other bets I'd rather have; it being a league cup game and all

They have won 3 in 9 games(one of which was Ross County) and only scored in last quarter to win 2-1 at home against aberdeen at the weekend.

OTHER PEOPLES LIVES!!

In our job we have a lot of time to people watch as looking out of our massive windows they see us we see them. Earlier itt i mentioned driving past the same people on the way to work and the guy who checks the parking machines for coins and today i saw him today on the early stretch of his walk, it must have been a good start to the day as he bent down to pick up a coin off the floor so no doubt the 4 miles will go quicker today!!

We had a strange guy come into the office yesterday and it nearly kicked off, the local newspaper give us 20 copies of the paper which we put in the front office for prospective buyers to have or for some residents who dont get it delivered and most people pop their head round the door say "do you mind if i take one" and off they toddle. Late afternoon yesterday a 30year old unkemp guy in a shell suit (in Belton terms he would be MRSocialsecurityfish)  walks in and i was on the Mezanine floor with Laura sat at her desk on the phone and he gestured if it was ok and she nodded as she was leaving a message for someone at which point he starts mumbling

"you think your better than me"  "stop bogging at me"  "your always laughing at me" so i was all ready to skip down the stairs but he then walked out, you never know what can happen and there are some wierdo's around. It reminded me of a time at a previous company where someone strolled into an office in Chingford with only the secretary there who just pulled a knife and slashed her arm before casually walking out and assaulting someone else..

Anyway it got us thinking about other peoples live in our broadway as we have a guy we have named
"COFFEE MAN" - He is in the broadway everyday from 9am and is always dressed smart casual about 45 years old, all he does is drink coffee in the 2-3 coffee/sandwich shops moving from one to the other and is never with anyone else. At 5pm when they shut he leaves to go where??? We reckon he has probably lost his job and leaves his house with his wife partner significant other thinking he has gone to work and is living off credit until he lands another job or gets found out!!

"THE BAG LADY"  - another coffee house sitter who wears the same clothes the 2x a week we see her but is quite scary and will walk into the office look around at the walls even the ones where properties are not displayed whilst remaining silent even if you ask "can i help at all?" before walking out. She is scary as she always has her hands in her pockets as if she is holding a knife in there..

These are just 2 of them, nowt as strange as folk eh...
